keep talking out your ass, I got respect for Emmaus, they are great team, but ESL, Bandar and LSP have all played better teams in the past. So to act like we've never seen something like that is just stupid.

and your idea is dumb too, so whats your real league, cuz SEA obviously ain't it

Here's my point... I'll take Bandar since you named them (no offense, mad respect)

When Bandar played a middle of the road EEPL team - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=672314
When Bandar played a good EEPL team - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=674281

Why not throw the good teams our trash, let them get taken, and then win every game when our good teams play their middle of the road teams, then our middle of the road teams against their bad teams? We'd lose to the big ones, but what's the problem with that? I GM Emmaus, and I know first hand it will be very hard for anyone other than maybe ESL (due to Emmaus's inability to stop an elusive back) to hang with them. I also know ESL would beat up some other teams in there, so why waste a guaranteed win on a 'maybe if we're lucky' scenario? I'd just rather win the challenge.

The way the voting is going so far, Bandar won't be playing the top EEPL team.

I understand the strategy in it. I just think this kind of gamesmanship stinks of the "weak sauce". Let's just line up and do battle the old fashioned way.

Stewart is pretty good, its hard to know how you stack until you play them

i disagree with rob. Let esl take emmaus, us take stewert (only if tpat is up for dcing, if not move us way down), bandar take whoever, and so on, and show everybody that were better then them

sweet, the thread is back on topic.

my preference would be to just line them up and play. Maybe manipulate the matchups a little bit by a few spots in either direction but it defeats the purpose of the challenge not to mention cheats a team out of a good matchup vs a similarly leveled team, to place a bottom tier team vs a top tier team and vice versa.

I also don't want the other conference to have the "look they manipulated the rankings" excuse when we beat them. EEPL has some nice teams at the top, but so do we.

This. As a delegate for both leagues (I'm a GM for Buda and have a player there as well), I want to do this right. Who is this Rob guy, anyways?
