Our owner built the team the right way without going into debt, payed us enough to train and equip and now we are set for the long haul.

I tend to agree with you. We built our team with a specific purpose in mind, to win titles and advance. I can't help it that the new teams were placed at the bottom of the ladder and left to fight their way into the big boy leagues. What are we supposed to do, water down our rosters just to appease the less talented teams and risk a chance of losing and staying in this bracket forever? Sorry but that's not in my team's or players' best interest.

I personally had no intention of "embarassing" or "humiliating" anyone....why would I want to do that? Is it our fault that other owners may not have the same resources at their disposal, or weren't smart about their planning? If the devs wanted to even the odds they would've put in a player level cap or had new teams in the higher level brackets, but since they didn't we're stuck where we are with what we have.

I'm not going to comment on this subject any more because it's already caused enough problems. All I will say from here on out is good luck to all of you in the BBB. I'm sorry if your team happens to get steam rolled in the process but the last time I checked it was still all about winning so we'll see you on the field and may the best team win.

Guys, I don't think anyone is accusing owners of cheating or even of being unethical. I know I'm sure not. However, for the PLAYERS, joining a team in a league intended for the newest of players just to have dominant stats is very unethical and mostly pointless seeing as nobody's going to respect those stats.

So what about those of us who wanted to switch teams to be with freinds or put togehter new teams with friend? We just get screwed? Are only optin was to buy one of the new teams, because there were no teams in higher divisions available to us.

I contend that if you are one of the so called NEWEST of players, joining a team outside of the US would be a better option then joining a low level US team; as the US divisions are by far and away the most competitive.

Also the game is designed to allow those at a lower level to increase in level faster then those at a higher level, the gap will decrease. Add to that the fact that tactics, depth and scouting your opponent can easily help you overcome any talent gaps. I'd be willing to bet that some of the higher level teams will not put in as much work in scouting and tactics because they think there level advantage will make them untouchable; it will not.

Also if you created a player near the end of last year you could have boosted 3 times then and three times again starting today, which would put you at lvl 7 without ever playing a game.

Most of those teams are broke or took out loans they won't be able to repay, so by midseason those guys will be free agents again anyways.

everybody is forgetting the money the new teams will recieve for season ticket sales on sat, that will repay the loans. I built more seats and will be able to repay my loan by Monday.

You can't count on that.. It might not be as much as you think and with that interest rate and the daily salarys, I just don't think it is wise.

Paid in full and my budget is great, and I just built more seats.

This is how my brother and I built most of our team. I got sick of trying to sign the free agents. So I made my own players, and got my brother to help.

Just to let you know, we built nearly our entire roster from scratch during the offseason too. We took advantage of the delayed boosting deadline which everyone should've done. If that gives our teams an advantage then it's not our fault, blame the devs for allowing boosting to occur longer than originally stated, but we all had the same opportunity.

Still, just because a team looks better on paper doesn't always mean they'll come away with the win....you'll just have to gameplan better.

What's the worst is we have teams with reflexive owners and gms (ie. one guy owns a high level team and another guy GMs and then the GM has a low level team that HE owns with the other guy as GM) and they shuttle players back and forth to quickly develop them....

I think it's a bullcrap loophole but who am I???

What are you talking about?

The fact is, if I could buy an A or AA team I would've. But there were none. I got a BBB team. I want to play with friends, or people I've met from elsewhere. How else do we do this?

Sorry, but no complaining. I would rather be in a stronger league, but going undefeated is far from guaranteed. In fact, the first game of the season is tough enough for us (since almost all of us haven't boosted yet, while most of their team has)
