Welcome to Week 1 In the BBB 12!!!!

Since we are all new and dont know each others style of play and your star players... here is a lil version of a guys picks for the week... hope you enjoy!!


Montana Crow vs. Las Vegas Express
Two teams on the lower end of activity during the first offseason But Las Vegas seemed to land some heavy hitters at QB, HB, NT and MLB. Im gonna take the lesser of two evils and one with the least amount of CPU players.
Las Vegas Express Wins 27 - 3

Spokane Owls vs. Eugene SLUGs
Again, Two more teams who forgotten to recruit. It takes more then a QB and a FS to win in this league. Since i cant pick nobody.....

Honolulu Beach Boys vs. Chicago Inferno
Both teams had some success wooing some free agents for their linemen. Even tho the Beach boys got a better dline, I will have to go with the Inferno's due to better team chem.

Houston Toxins vs. Minnesota Mountain Lions
Toxins went crazy this offseason recruiting CPU scab players... someone call the union!!! Have to commend the Lions with building a good starting team that will try to run the rock vs the all scab team, but it wont be enough.

Long Beach Dub All-Stars vs. Possum Trot Plague
Long Beach Dub All-Stars have a nice staring group but a better recruiting job by the owners of the Plague will be just too much to handle.

Dallas Hitmen vs. Tana River Ewoks
A nice matchup of two teams that have been active in the offseason. The Hitmen went after big skill players in a QB, HB, WR, MLB and a SS where as the Ewoks were more evenly built. Due to a better line....

Frankfurt Universe vs. Huskers Illustrated Bugeaters
Total mismatch. This game will be over fast and early. Someone call the medics cause the Huskers will be taking someone to school.

Lesser of two evils, and cpu players. Badgers should run, pass and catch with ease all over the Molehills.

Philadelphia Pigeons vs. Buffalo Chips
Both teams have nice builds and are looking to the future where they will both grow into good teams. At the moment tho, Buffalo has the slight edge in talent.

New Jersey FalCoons vs. New Jersey Blaze
In state rivals that might have to wait till next year to become competitive. The Blaze ownership has put together a very nice and talented offensive unit that will have nothing but air standing in it's way of the endzone during this game. The FalCoons are still trying to figure out the best way to build a whole team around their star tightend.

Tampa Bay Tarpons vs. Bonita Beef Supreme
Both teams were not so lucky this offseason. The tarpons Blew a load when they signed their star runningback, quarterback and WR but havent closed the deal since. The Bonita Beef Supreme are trying to sell a product to their fans that makes you ask, Wheres the beef???

Here is one of the best matchup of the week. The Chocolate City Saints ownership worked hard and long scouting players near and far and built a contender. They have a nice setup of playmakers on both sides of the ball. Shame that they somehow drew the luck of playing the varsity team on week 1. The Tecmo All Stars stroll into chocolate city 55 deep, looking to bitch slap someone for their money, and they even have Wayne Brady with em.

Awesomeville Bearphins stroll into Brooklyn this week lead by Cago Eman who was voted best linebacker by the 3rd graders at P.S 174. Both teams are well built on both sides of the ball and will be a close game...

I hope some of those games turn out the way you predict Whatsdafus. I hope you plan to do something similar every week. Just don't ever pick our team to lose

I'm sure a bunch of us are first time owners so there will be a learning curve to figure out what tactics work best. This could skew your predictions a bit.

oh yea. tactics can make up for 3 well placed levels. so even tho you see someone a few levels ahead of your team, if you plan the game out well, you can win and win big.

Um... tyante, isnt it against the best interest of the league that you own and are a GM of two teams in the BBB 12 west division???

I don't see why it would be against the interest of the league. Our teams will play once, still trying to figure out how to handle that one though. I'm the defensive coordinator for the one team and owner for the other. I really didn't plan to be in the same league, kind of bad luck.

When the two teams do play, I think I'll step away from my d-coord duties on the one team for the game and let the team I own decide what the game plan will be. That way it will keep the conflict of interest as minimal as possible.

thanx for the vote of confidence, i have been active this off season but i just didnt sigh as many as i would have liked i am close to landing another lvl 7 LB and DE (humans) though. cuz i really need to shore up that D if i wanna have a shot at takign the championship. and i ahve humans at all but 2 positions just some are back ups to computers, id rather play a lvl 6 CPU than a Lvl 1 Human. but once those human backups get some levels under there belt they will be in the starting lineup

Thats a nice write up but I don't see it beeing that bug a blow out. Jeremy Riggs and Mo Shuns are going to hook up for atleast 2 td's ourselves. Who am I kidding Tecmo is reiculous. How is it possible to have your guys leveled up so high. I have done everything that I could do and I'm only a level 9. Something smells fishy.

It's called good ownership, I know how to recruit talent what can I say. I don't even have all my players yet. I have a 14 TE, 13 CB, and another 10 WR coming with a few others shortly.
