I agree with blue here, alcohol does do a lot more bad than good. But, the bad is sooo much more fun than the good. I've used alcohol to ensure that I don't remember that fat chick I thought was starting to look pretty hot.

Well, generally speaking...not necessarily YOU, but the general populace of mankind as a whole, in general, are absolutely stupid as hell...especially Americans, for all our money and potential for greatness in this world - due to sheer situational possibilities, we're dumb as fuck as a nation...

Hell, the ancient Alchemists believed that the human species had stopped evolving entirely, due to a lack of necessity to continue further along the evolutionary path, being as we've been top of the food chain for quite some time in our species' history now. They may have been correct...I personally think we're regressing right now a bit. Sure, technology is increasingly getting more and more advanced, but as technology does more and more for us, we have to use our minds less and less to get things done, and eventually, will be completely dependent on mechanical things to function...much like we are right now. That's why over 1500 years ago Alchemists were trying to forcibly kick-start human evolution by using ascension techniques, to open the gateways of the mind and expand the possibilities of our own existence. Too bad they kinda died off and no longer exist in a widespread way...

If anyone doesn't think Alchemy shaped our modern world, think about this - there are quite a number of very famous minds throughout history that were practicing alchemists. Don't believe me? Try this on for size: Sir Isaac Newton was a practicing alchemist. He made some of the greatest discoveries of his era...without alchemy leading him along, he probably wouldn't have understood half of what he did...
