I received a gutted Team, but did I just sit on my hands and say "OH WELL" Get out there and find players for your Team. Have some pride in your Team, instead of looking at your Team as if to say to all your players "YOU SUCK! That's why you are here". No spend the hours finding active free agents and do what we all do, at least try to compete. Why would anyone not want to do the best for the team that you own. Instead be a tool to other teams, which means even though you own the team, it still is not your team.

I was at the same point as you in week 4, but I CHOSE to be better, and so do the players that come to my team.

Korhor you've done an amazing job with your team and idk ab the rest of BBB2 but you have my full respect for the following:
1)NOT being a whiny bitch about getting a gutted team
2)putting together a legitimate team (in most BBB leagues you'd be like a 10th seed)
3)refer to number 1, its doubly important.

Hah.. so much new guy hate. I think it went down hill when you tried to "sell" people on the virtues of running up the score on your team. You obviously don't understand your "neighbors". Most of those guys couldn't give a crap about maxing out plays. If anything, that probably riled up people who were content to let is slide. Maybe it wasn't your intent, but it kinda comes across like you're whoring your team out for exp... you probably coulda got away with it too had people previously in your situation (or teams that literally had GLB record losing streaks) actually made sincere efforts to improve their teams this season. Makes your idea of "quid pro quo stat padding with a wink & a nod" seem kinda.. i dunno.. cheap.

I came here to explain what happen. I can understand how you feel, but I'm sorry that we do need a farm. Maybe, you're right about how to play GLB. I'm appreciate your advice, too. Maybe, we'll turn this team into a competitive team in 2-3 seasons. Who knows?

Oh.. well in that case the english was pretty good. Although now I know your from Taiwanese I expect you to be good even faster. Unfair? Yes. But just in my personal experience, any game where i've played with people from the Pacific, they were usually pretty damn good. (hooray for positive reinforcement racism!)

Just a tip though.. you'd don't have to apologize to these guys for what you do. It's your team. Even if they hate you & what you do, none of them can tell you what to do, just give you their opinion.

And you don't have to put your name at the end of your post.. your name is literally like 2 inches to the left in case we forget.

Define "Farm team".
I can see two types:

"Arsehat" class farm teams :
Teams where the entire purpose of the team is to maximise XPs so the players get good real quick, ignoring the fact that there are people who want to play the game properly in the same league.

"Fine" class farm teams :
A team in a lower division that features many of the same coaches as a higher level team. The team is run to be as competetive as possible, though if the higher level team needs a new player or two, then the lower level team is there to sacrifice it's stars for the greater good. This lower level team may also be a testbed for wacky tactics and player builds.

FWIW a friend of mine got the team that is now the Chicago Storm and asked me to come on board as a GM. That team has been shafted in every orifice by its previous management, and I doubt we'll see many of the few decent players there are staying.
Sucks, but that's life. We're going to be building not so much from the ground up as from six feet under up. We're probably going to suck for a while. Not a lot we can do about that though.

Right. A group of us has a farm team, they are making the playoffs for the 2nd straight season in SE-Asia AA.
