and ours was "designed" by DD doing a Google search for the word "pushover" and linking one of the first pics which shows up.

i'd argue that you have to separate the *logo* from the presentation of the logo (read: white background, 75x75 pix boundaries), but that's semantic niggling: any two people's approach to critiquing a given piece will be different.

Curious, TSE: what would you identify the DDLs "Team Colors" as? Gold, Red and Black?

The colors are on our logo, what the name of those particular shades are I'm not sure.

But more of the effect we were looking for is basically fire and brimstone style, to go along with us being a demonic or hellish and more wicked version of the Detroit Lions in a sense. But also with consideration to having an emblem that is prestigious since we consider our team to be very elite.

For my money? the DDL logo would improve by a) removing the bevel effect from the font: you lose the cross stroke of the L a bit at 75x75, and bevelling for bevelling's sake is never a good idea.

Agreed.

DDL's "logo" really isn't that great. Also the text is haphazardly thrown in it seems

thanks, but I'll pass - we aesthetically start at opposite ends, i think, and while there's nothing at all wrong with that, it does make things complicated.

Can Jed explain the connection between "pushovers" and a man making out with a woman? I was always pretty confused about that. Is he pushing over the woman, so it's supposed to be funny because his team is a bunch of ladies?

For the Nasty, I like the idea, just needs some more edge to go with being "nasty".
