Top 6 players from the Bucs(in no specific order):

HB/KR-JoJo Damonkeyboy: Has the most yards/TDs for the amount of touches he gets. And hes our back up! He also had the most KR yds and KR TDs in the West.

K-Two Leftfeet: Has the highest FG percentatge in the West. 28/30 FGM = 93% 10/10 from 30-39 and 9/11 from 40-49.

CB-Buddy Hiccsom: 41 PDs(most in the west), 2 Int and 3 FFum.

LOLB-Buster Black: 62 tackles, 17 PDs and 4 Int. Has the most Ints of any LB in the West.

OT- Pancake Williams: Most Pancakes in the West with 146(probably would have been the whole league if it weren't for all those fools in the east getting to rape Michigan once a week). And hes a tackle. Everyone knows Guards get more pancakes than tackles.

MLB-Dave "The Wave" Johnson: Dave may not have the top stats in every category, but hes all over the place. A solid 61 tackles, 9 hry, 3 sck, 2 PD, 2 FFum and 1 Safety(love that one ).

Top Players from the Sioux Falls Storm:

Offensively, we undoubtedly had the best Center in the league this year with Tommy Pickles. He had 98 pancakes. The next closest center in the conference had 49. Two centers in the Eastern conference had more cakes with 102 and 101 but, as Morphius said above, they had a team to kick around and boost the stats.

Defensively, I have three of our players to bring to the voter's attention.

Brandon Flowers (CB) had 62 tackles with only 1 missed. He also had 2 tfl, 8 interceptions, 1 Int TD and 1 Def TD, 35 pass deflections and 1 recovered fumble.

Darrel Greens (CB) had 77 tackles with only 3 missed. He also had 1 tfl, 2 interceptions and 35 pass deflections.

Chris Marino (FS) had 54 tackles, 2 interceptions, 1 Int TD and 1 Def TD, 14 pass deflections, 3 forced fumbles and 2 fumble recoveries.

I have to say I eliminated anyone from Honolulu just on general principles. Their roster has always looked shady to me, but it sticks out with all the inactives. If I'm wrong, I apologize.

pwn = most selfish player in BBB
if there is an award for that, he should have it locked up
he only comes into the game if the ball is on the edge of the goal line.. and he hogs all the touchdowns!

I realize it's only because the goal line play puts your starter in as the 3rd TE.

I don't have the time or inclination to watch replays to find the best blocking FB, and nobody stood out in yardage or pancakes, but 21 TD's stands out.

If you score almost 28% of the times you touch the ball, you're important to an offense.

If you adjusted your depth chart, the starter would have the yards and TD's. He'd be a lock next year.

The problem with this process is that people are looking purely at stats.

For example, my G moved from LG to RG, which naturally reduced his pancakes. But with his very high SPD, AGL, and VIS, he's been able to make a huge impact on the team by dropping off his double team, sprint across the pocket, and pick up other guys to prevent sacks. Here's an example: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=97027&pbp_id=4712997

Another problem with pure stats is something like Carter Johnson. His stats are universally worse than the #1 WR, but because the #1 WR gets double teamed and pulls stronger CB, Carter puts up nice stats.

Then there's PWN, who gets voted in over better backs because, for some reason, the simulation always gives him the ball on goal downs, leading to a ridiculous number of TDs, even though he's not that good.

The problem is that unless you're going to watch every game and see everything going on, voting it a waste. We already have league-leader charts, so let's leave it to that.

Actually, I don't really care. I'm just pointing out the pointlessness of these posts. I mostly cited my own team because I can see the stats. People just look at the league leaders and pick #1 and #2, making this whole exercise pointless.

Honestly, I think it's a huge pain in the ass. This is the only league I bother voting in, and I only do it for my team.

There is no way I'm going to spend more time on it. It already takes 3X as long as I'd like.
