Let me step in here.

We have been (I think) very good in our defeat, We lost, it was a fun game. way better than most this season, It has re-energised my troops (thats for sure,) There has been no whining or crying over spilt milk. Moon brought up a very valid point (a little heated but very valid)Passing is swung the other way. We here at SGA dont like to lose and when it happens, we get a little cranker. If you look back at ALL of our wins, we take pride in not talking shit. We will run it before a big game, and even a little after a loss (not really sure how to handle those yet). But we have never ran it after beating some one, FACT.

We congratulate the Lightning on a very nice win.
We do think if/when we play again it will be different. (if not, why keep playing).
I actually want to thank them for solidifying a suspicion a few of us had.
We aren't happy about losing.



Now, I have been a gracious loser and my team has been as well,

If we want to discus the changes that have occurred in the game, we can, just not in the same context of this loss.

I do wish some would take a cue from some of the teams here that after a big game they learn to act like they have been there before.

Kenchi, I did find your closing remark (Don't go blaming Bort or any one else for inability. Nuff Said!) a little amusing, Let me get this straight, We have inability? lol

Well, Im sure you will be looking forward to playing our inferior squad, if we can manage to make it in to the play offs.

Well, you know, We've been in this league since it began and we we've been through some lean seasons so we are a little excited, I guess that's not to be expected here. All we've been trying to do since then is get a little respect. We were expected to finish in the bottom half of the league again this season. Nobody paid attention to us, and we have stayed pretty quite.
So you are saying if you (#2) had beaten us (#3), we would not have heard anything about how we were overrated? outmanned? just plain sucked?
I beleive you or one of your guys named this thread, right? That's not cocky? That's not presuming your going to kick alls ass? That's not disrespectful to other teams?(I think everyone in here wants a piece of you guys, why not? You're the best!!)
Maybe that last comment of mine was a little out of bounds, but I've read the same comment to many times. Didn't mean to offend, what I meant was these AI's are new to everyone but if your going to use them, don't blame any one, just deal with them and make it work to your advantage. And we're not the Poster Child of anything, I spent a hell of alot of hours and energy to set it up just the way I wanted it, and now our team is reaping it's rewards, but I'm am still learning every game and still adjusting.
I will say don't ever put words out there that was never said, I NEVER said that your team is inferior, you did! You and I both know you have a great team, a Championship Team! We also have a very good team, but we're still trying to become what you are, a Championship caliber team. Is that so hard to accept?

You completely misunderstood my post, I am giving full credit for your win, Great Job!!! I defend your position of using AI,

But... on a separate note, I (and most of the rest of GLB) have seen a dramatic change in the passing game recently, now, If your insinuating that you saw that coming and had your players build for this change and not the way the game has been for the past 3 seasons, and a game plan to maximize the sudden shift to successful passing then you truly are clairvoyant.

I think we can recognize your great win, and also recognize that the game has changed rather rapidly. we need to separate the topics. Both are true, and unfortunately related.

remember old wise one, respect is earned , not given. You will be judged by your actions in AND after victory and defeat. That is what lasts in most peoples minds.

If you doubt my answer, please feel free to go back and look for your self. We have never spoken about a team we just defeated. and to answer your direct question FROM ABOVE:


My response is , ABSOLUTELY NOT! we have a very long track record of blowing out gutted teams all the way to beating heated rivals in the play offs, and we have never talked shit after beating a team. We may engage in pre game smack, but after the game we have been totally cool, I wont defend our our team again, our track record in this is immaculate and speaks for itself. Look it up. We have never and will never run our mouths after beating someone.

If we had won, no offense, we would nt of thought anything of it, we expected to win. The most I would of said was "GG, WE WILL SEE YA IN THE PLAY OFFS"

There are still a few great teams left in EEP and SGA is DEFINITELY one of them. I am very happy we won that game... VERY happy! Not because we want to rub it in anyones nose or anything but simply because it feels good to beat a great team... now if we can just figure out a way to win this week and then Prague ( who we have never beaten) later in the season.

As for builds I have told others that the changes Bort has made played right into the way I like to build and have our agents build their players. We definitely didn't foresee it but we stuck to our guns and it paid off!

I still LOVE EEP even though there are a lot of gutted teams, I hope there are no more and the strong teams stay and continue to compete because winning 37-23 sure felt better than winning 184 and 119 to 0!
