What does the bracket look like? How many teams are left?

FINAL FOUR:
BBB#16: EZ COMPANY vs BBB#5 San Antonio RAHLS
BBB#5: Minnesota SKULLS vs. Winner of BBB#15 New Brunswick SCARLET KNIGHTS/BBB#7 Atlanta PURPLE PENGUINS (8/29; 6:00 am)
And it seems pretty clear (to me at least) based not only on two teams in the Final Four, but the quality of teams the league put out there, that BBB#5 is probably the strongest one.....but I sure wish our league had put a few more teams in. I KNOW some of our teams (Lycans, Kittens, Thundercats, Freedom Warriors, Armageddon, Samurai) would have made some noise in this tournament, and I only know the Eastern teams!!!

Atlanta Purple Penguins barely squeak by against the New Brunswick Scarlet Knights, 21-20. They are a heckuva team and although there weren't any "Immaculate Reception" type plays, we were fortunate to take this one. We dug ourselves into a mighty big hole in the first half.
BBB#7 now has a representative in the Final Four and plays the team than knocked off Oakland in the first round, the very tough Minnesota Skulls! But win or lose, I think The Seven has nothing to be ashamed of in this tournament. Atlanta has faced three (at the time) undefeated teams to reach this point, so only BBB#5 really has much standing to talk any smack to us (and they probably are a stronger league in all honesty).

So much the better when you knock them off then, Knightman. It will make the victory so much sweeter to know you beat down so many of the so called top teams to be he best of the BBB... good luck... you've already done us proud... hang in there and take it home. (That is my best attempt at a rousing inspirational speech... hope it is sufficient)

This is going to be one hell of a game. I don't care if the Skulls or the Purple Penguins win, as long as the winner of this game takes out EZ. BBB16 has talked so much shit on our forum. Good Luck Knightman.

Best of BBB Semifinals:
Atlanta PURPLE PENGUINS (BBB#7)--48
Minnesota SKULLS (BBB#5)--27
And I have absolutely no idea how it turned out that lopsided...Minnesota is a GREAT team ( had a 34 game regular season win streak snapped earlier this year, then started another 13 game string!) from a VERY strong league, but hey, we'll take it!!!
This means that "The Seven" is going to be represented in the Championship game against EZ Company from BBB#16. Not bad for a league that was getting dissed before the tourney, eh? Oh, and BTW, if any of you know of anything that might be helpful in gameplanning against EZC, I again wouldn't mind a helpful hint (or two).
On another note, considering we don't get much press outside of our own league, nor apparently the measure of respect I think we deserve, would you guys be interested in a sort of "ACC/Big Ten" format challenge with BBB#5 (or any other league)? It would be set up as corresponding losers in the playoffs would play each other, i.e., the losers in each respective conference of the #1 vs. #8 East game would play each other in a friendly and we'd keep a tally. Alternatively, we could simply take the teams eliminated and order them by seeding top to bottom and set the matchups that way in order to reduce the effect of an upset. For it to work, though, we'd need nearly all 16 playoff teams to buy in. Are we up for it???

We have teams showing interest in this and it really wouldn't be that hard to set up. I have read your forums for awhile now and seems like you have a bunch of great owners and players over here. Knightman has been and is a class act. EZ has no idea how bad this is going to be.

I think the Freedom Warriors would probably be interested in something like that...

Its a nice idea, but as teams promote and relegate, it will be impossible to keep it going.
That said, I think a one time game would be cool.

These are all one time games. Kind of like your west vs east last game of the season.
