Holy shit, we gotta try that!

Damn it our secrets are out...knew I should have kept that one under wraps

Shhhhhh thats not a loophole we want exposed yet. I mean God knows real teams don't try and exploit matchups. Thats just a loophole.

Actually you guys lost remember...you scored a TD at the end of the game to make it a 4 point differential.

Learn to read dude. He was talking about how you lost the ARGUMENT.

No one is disputing the fact that you were able to skate by us by placing your best pass rushing DE on the LDE to exploit the LOOPHOLE of avoiding the best pass blocking OT's with the Protect SA. Really that was some genius logic there that you guys did all season last season..hell you're probably doing that again this year for all I know

We have always played Bundy at both DE positions. He dominates at either one. If you look at his thread http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=799680 and watch his replays half of his sacks are on the LOT and half are on the ROT. He is just that good. We don't exploit any sort of loophole.

I'm not talkign about Bundy..you guys had another DE that you always played at LDE last year..I think I remember because I doubt anyone scouts as much as I do LOL

Yea found him. Kris Lawrence had 14 sacks and 38 hurries last year..I see you guys put him in at RDE this year to cover up what you did last year..thats probably a good idea..the guys in the PROs aren't QUITE as dumb..

Game 1 this season, still getting sacks at LDE...
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=85656&pbp_id=1089816

Yes we did move him, but not for the reasons you think

Also, 2 sacks in this game as a RDE...so it really doesn't matter where we line him up
http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=85608

Simple question:
Can ANY given ROT take advantage of the "Protect" Special Ability? Yes or No?

Besides I don't know who that OT is..but I doubt your DE would get two sacks on my OT if he lined up at the RDE position. We won't know because in the championship last year you had him in at LDE..true or false??

First off know one even knows how much that SA helps. What we do know is that most SA's dont help for much of anything. Secondly are you saying that moving guys around to take advantage of matchups is something that shouldn't be allowed? Why stop there, why not have a depth chart you set at the beginning of the season and can make no changes to? Hell why even have the ability to adjust game plans since thats taking advantage of match ups too?

Mother of god, this is like talking strategy to a turtle.

So let me get this straight you guys only have ONE OT who is worth a shit a pass protection, due to a SA? And we should oblige you guys by putting our best pass rusher up against him? BRILLIANT
Here is a great idea....make TWO OR MORE OTs that are worth a shit in pass defense and it won't be an issue.

You didnt answer my question about if an OT in the ROT slot can use the Protect skill?

I never said our ROT has no pass blocking ability..but he obviously has less since he doesn't have the "Protect" SA

You cannot deny that the reason you put your best pass rushing DE at the LDE position is to avoid the Protect skill.

I'm done with this retarded thread.

Truth is exposed..

Um....I know plenty of teams that do that. It's called "strategy".

Actually our best pass rushing DE is Bundy, and we put him at both.

Quite honestly we could give a shit about the protect skill, you are acting like it is the end all be all. You obviously have no clue how to build an OT if you are primarily relying on the protect skill to save your ass.

The only truth that has been exposed here is that you guys are beyond clueless

I didn't get a chance to be on here for more than 2 min yesterday -- so this is overdue.

But good game to all the Pimps. You guys whooped us. Hopefully we'll get a second chance this year, but man was that ugly.

Good stuff.

If this is your idea of "logic" and strategy, I'm amazed you managed to win any non-cupcake games ever.

So does this mean that Alabama can take back all our loses due to our RT being exposed by better pass rushers against teams like AU and LSU?

Well obviously, because being smarter than the other team is cheating.

Our best pass rushing DE is Bundy, Lawrence is probably our best overall DE, T-Noles is...well...not as good as the other 2...but he is a great 3rd man and good against the run
