Yea it prob does stop working when you catch the ball, or at least we cant assume that it doesnt. Still, with the fact that theres like, no one in the universe who averages over 3.0 YAC, i'm much more focused on how juke affects our ability to create seperation, and less so on getting YAC.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=78512 I guess I live in a different universe?

Actually I'm not gloating because most of my YAC have come on three plays.

hyperbole, sample size.

Like I said I'm not gloating or anything. I think it is possible to have over 3 yards per catch though. I mean I could get shut out the rest of the season and do it. It just takes some luck.

i understand. when i said no one in the universe i meant the vast vast majority of people over the course of a season.

So that was your version of hyperbole ?

My WR - Boston George averaged almost 5YAC last season, and is already at 8.7YAC for this year.

I think more people average more than 3YAC than you think...

Not to be mean or anything , but your guy is only in a SA AA league , making the CBs somewhat worse than what people face in higher level leagues .

But none the less , must be a good build to get that kind of YAC , do you see him break tackles often or is it on a few drives where he burned for 50 YAC in one single play ?

^ Heck, my level 15 WR is averaging 5.9 YAC in BBB#9, and the median level in that league is 22! I only expect that to go up as the season progresses.

Honestly, look at the levels. My WR is playing against CBs that are very similar in level. SA AA#2 is a VERY competitive league, besides, I just boosted him a couple of days ago. So before that, he was only a Level 20 - today will be his first game at Level 22.

Besides, my Level 17 WR - who is on the same team - also is averaging 7.1 YAC this season, with 18.6 YPC.

So obviously, long passes do help. But neither WR has a bunch of long TDs, its been fairly consistent.

But like I said, Boston George averaged almost 5 YAC last season, so its probably more of result from a good build, rather than it being a fluke.

Wasn't trying to say your league sucked , just wanted a perspective .

But then how do you get that YAC ?

Breaking tackles or simply outrun them ?
