Have you seen they have spin offs of 2girls1cup...some nasty stuff...one where a girl is in an entire bathtub...that out of the way.

Looking for thoughts on the advanced defense AI...I am finding it is picky and glitchy. Seems that the situational setups for outputs are not working properly.

I dumped it after 1 test run, just isn't working well enough yet. Just reworked the basic AI again to improve on what we had.

Not working in that you can't finish doing it, or in game it doesn't call the correct plays?

It works, it just isn't what one would expect. Bort has different definitions for things than they truly are or how you've typically seen them represented in games before. It requires lots of research to get it functioning close to what you want it to do. Little by little, tho...

I don't understand this either? The input and output choices are standard. Do you have something specific that isn't "top secret"?

Also, how did I "get" 2 of my guys with lemonparty/2girls? Jesus wept.

Trial and error, bro. I've spent some serious time working on it just to get it to function similar to what I want. In our two preseason games, I had a list of 12-15 busted plays after each game. I went back and looked at what I called, what was ran, and made changes. I took what I learned in those two games, totally scrapped the whole damn thing and redid our playbook for the Legends and only had 3 busted plays. Granted, we still gave up a few shots down the field, but those were personel issues rather than a tactical problem. I'm reviewing each play from each game, making notes, and going back to the drawing board. Hopefully once the playoffs get here, we'll be in them and I'll know what I'm doing. At least that's my goal.

Nothing "top secret" I was just playing around with a standard 3-4 with a Cover 2 and setting up blitzes. The problem I was having is that players that I never wanted to blitz are blitzing all the time and I even set them to 0 for the chance. That is my big question mark on the AI..how do i fix the blitzing issues. How many inputs do you have in general and how many situations per output.

I haven't had the problems with blitzing that you described. On blitz plays, make sure you've got the number of blitzers set right.

EDIT: What I meant was make sure the max blitzers setting doesn't exceed the number of positions you've chosen. Also, get rid of the 0's in the position boxes.

Enough inputs to cover everything. I ain't talking about outputs.

Curiosity. I knew it was bad. I hesitated over the link. I closed the thread. I walked away from the computer. But I kept coming back. Damn you!

Mr. Moses, you are dedicated. Far more than I. I just look at the box score and assume everything went well...

Arkanpyra, maybe the 3-4 is the problem? Or too much new stuff? I also have not had problems with the blitzers being out of place. I don't mess with the zeros, but I do make sure that the guys I want blitzing are 100 and that my max # of blitzers matches the number of guys with 100. I haven't tried anything different though.

Hehe.. I've got a newborn. Sleep is a thing of the past. By the time she gets to sleep, I'm wired. Might as well watch plays until I get sleepy.
