I received some offers early, which is fine. I'm sure a few have no idea what's even going on with this thread, which is a bit disconcerting that they don't even read the ad when the title on the marketplace says "Read AD before PMing" but what can you do?

Anyway, I received over 30 offers, and only 3 of them actually fit the acceptable terms of 1 year, end on day 40, trades disallowed. So if you were rejected, that's why. You're still in the drawing.

well I'm out, damn! I liked my odds better when there were only 3 teams. Too bad you didn't do the random drawing then

and 5 teams have been ruled ineligible. If you have a better or equal level FB signed through the season, you don't need the player, even if you planned on starting him. No offense, but those were the terms I set forth for eligiblity.

re-drawing

If it's any consolation, I was actually pulling for a few teams on this list since they seemed to have trouble recruiting and could use the help. In the end I was a little disappointed that almost all of the final 5-10 teams chosen were actually set with a good FB, but I had to honor the agreement or what was the point?

Best of luck to some of you guys out there, and if one of my players is available soon I'll keep you in mind.

We weren't a final team, although we did have a high level FB (mine in fact). I will say your FB has something very important....speed.

I've found with speed backs, the 30 - 35 speed FB is almost worthless as the HB is either past them or the FB has no time to block the LB. That was the main reason I was interested in your player...mine is way too slow

Anyway, good luck next season...damn you C-Town Hoodlums!

Yeah I looked past players that were owned by owners, since they're easy to move. I know I have a high level DT I'd like replaced and moved.. and I checked for inactivity, etc.

Sounds like a fun contest.

We do have a high level FB, but he's looking to retire. Would have been fun to get our name in the hat.

Oh well, I'm glad there are people like you on GLB. Makes it more fun.

Omaha Beef were the first true finalist accepted in my opinion. (First eligible team drawn) So if none of the three can or will offer the contract requested, I'll PM them.

Still waiting for a proper contract. Part of this little experiment does include a test to reward people who pay attention to detail.

deadline passed, no contracts offered with the simple terms listed on post 1. So I'm opening it up to the beef. PMs saying "Tell me what you want" don't illustrate an owners ability to simply read a post to sign a player. Attention to detail is important, so if I have to spell it out, it's best to just accept a contract from someone who will.

It's simple. Read the italicized print on the post and I'll accept an offer. I'm sure one of the other 40 teams that wanted to sign this player could do that.
