Though not complaining per se, how come all these upper level players are not playing in the upper leagues, letting lower level guys leave the CPU leagues to advance into BBB or equivalent leagues. Kinda thought the point was to advance.

Nope, a lot of the higher level guys want to dominate, and tehy think going to a lower level league will do that, but to many think that way and we all end up with level 20+ team averages.

yeah if you want to play with 'lower' level players you need to research your league and most likely go 'overseas'. Those teams have the level caps or are suppose to this season. And yeah Bearphin is right, a lot of players want to be 'The Man' and will go to where they think they can be that.
The amount of pandering you need to do to get a player to sign sometimes... "No really, your level 16 HB/WR/CB/whatever will be our starter and we'll build around you and of course a $500K bonus and $10K daily salary is totally reasonable" <SIGH>

I think if Bort does the change in season 5 of more player controls and team vs. self-centered 75-90% of the players will go the later. Just saying... of course this is just FAs and ones that advertise a lot. You can find the team players and ones that are willing to fill holes for the team but it is harder.

Hmm, ok seems I have been doing too much recruiting lately and am just a little burnt out

Hehe I think more to my point that this IS the lower league, and I expect that someone currently at a high level with a contract ending would/should want to compete on the next level if they are able. It just seems that unless signing to the same team to keep things going, a lvl 20+ player would want to move on if they are not happy with the current team, but then again, I am the team player type, and want trophy's, not stats.

Yes I know I have a low 20's player on a BBB team (as a backup), but he started there as a level 1 and moved up the chain. Were I unhappy, he would be in at least A as a backup or another league above where he is now. But advancing regardless, testing against higher level players rather than easing by.

Damn...the Rebs look like they're getting ready to rock some socks this season! I think ya'll will do more than just "compete", this looks like the making of a playoff team. Good luck and looking forward to our meeting.
