Wow, all i have to say is my predictions are amazing. Can i get an Ahmen from the congregation, all except Pit, you've disapointed me TWO TIMES IN THE LAST 2 WEEKS

Ok on the lighter side of things, WOW @ Sactown sneaking in the playoffs and congrats to all the other teams who made it as well.

Let the fun begin!

Edit: Inserted silly face in case sarcasm wasn't portrayed textually.

And Congratz!! Just noticed you got the 8th seed against the undefeated Ponkos!!

They should be worried too, we held them to the least points all season. If they want to admit it or not, they are worried.

In all seriousness, Having an easy prediction ever week was awesome, so thanks for being in the League this season, Panther Hollow!

Defense is on fire. Speed demon I think should be defensive player of the year in the entire league that guy shut downs everyone.
See you guys in the playoffs....

i dont think you can give a CB with 123 tackles DPOY.. how does 123 = shutting down people? + 63 pass deflections mean you get targeted alot

Don’t be a hater cuz he was defensive player of the game. 7 tackles 1 ffum and 1 int.
By the way 4 of the tackles came on the run, I don’t see how that is targeting him. Especially on the running game If he as the vision to recognize the run game and come up and make the tackle that sounds like a shut down corner to me.

If he gets targeted that’s the QB fault cuz he doesn't get beat to often. Maybe the QB should target someone else. When they target him he comes up big and he does it in big game against tough opponents.

Are you saying a CB with 60 tackles 30 passes deflected and 5 int is more deserving of DPOY? Stats are the only thing we can go by in this game the more stats the more deserving.

Also look at any major sport. Who normally gets MVP the guys with the best stats. If they have the best stats in the nfl does that mean he get picked on a lot no it means he reads the play well and is there to make the tackle, sack, or knock down the ball if they cant make the pick.

I am not saying he is the best defensive player in the league but 11th in tackle with only 4 missed, 3rd in int, and 3rd in passes deflected deserves recognition

depends the position really
deion sanders was 1st team all pro all pro a few times with only 2-3 ints in those years, people knew not to even throw at him.

First of, i think you did say he was
and its widely accepted that true shutdown corners tend to gain alot less stats than other players because QBs tend not to throw them the ball. So in most sports what you say is correct, the guy with the better stats tends to win MVP.. but IMO the best CB wouldn't have many stats, except for the tackles he made against the run.
And you saying he doesn't get beat too often? i enjoyed watching the 45.5 yard TD on him

We could go on at this all day, just cuz my CB is better then your CB don't get mad.
LOL

Look at the website for the league who is the only player to get 2 players of the game on defense? That right Speed.

Deion yes was a great player, no one through his way, but honestly that guy was a pussy of a tackler. An they relied a lot on his kicking/punting returning and some offensive skills. Probably helped him make more of those all pro teams.

"Saying he doesn't get beat too often." Wasn't a question is was a statement
Often is the primary point he did get beat not once but twice this year, but every other time he was up to the challange. Even the best get beat with less balls thrown there way. I am sure your guy got beat, but I am not going to look.

One thing I am going to change is the shutdown everyone comment. Instead he is the best all around corner in the league. Tackles, int, deflections, even forced acouple fumbles. That work better for you!!!!
I would put one other guy up there to cuz of the tackles and Ffumble CB Rashard Poole
with only one missed tackle. Impressive...

Works for me .. or you should say something like he gets the most stats out of any CB in the league?

He only got 2 or 3 last year IIRC- thats why i said CBs tend not to get that many stats
