4E sucks. I want criticals! I want fumbles! The new rules are like a video game - hell, my buddy had a list of 100 criticals and 100 fumbles...nothing quite so entertaining as seeing your buddy accidentally cut off his one big toe because he rolled a 1 on an attack and landed on "hacks off own big toe" on the fumbles list.

This is why you'll lose against the Cans....too eager to embrace chang for the worse!

I still play 3.5 and have absolutely no interest in moving on to 4E because Wizards absolutely destroyed the game. I would rather play 2E than 4E. In fact, I will be playing Friday night after the game. Grug and company are searching for a group of magical masks.

This is exactly why the Caninites dominate. Don't ever underestimate a Dungeon master. All of the teams we've played this season come out say the same thing. "WTF! Did you see that Orc come out of no where and ambush our offense?" "No but I saw an elf run a post route and and a wizard hit him in stride"

People who think fantasy football is somehow more macho than fantasy role playing (e.g. AD&D) are fooling themselves - they're all geeks. HTH
