tragic

fuck that, I wasn't even a Bears fan and I bought the tape

it was brilliant music

plus regardless of what team you root for, the 85 Bears season was a special moment in football history

you had guys like Buddy Ryan, Mike Ditka, Da Fridge, Mike Singletary, Walter Payton, McMahon and many others that made it fun to watch. I was only like 8 years old but I remember it being cool as hell watching those guys

I like big ben but he can't win a game passing the ball like other QB's can. I think he relies on the running game a little bit to much. QUOTE]

I agree that the Steelers rock. I've been a fan forever. I don't think it's fair to say that Ben relies on the run to much as that is Steeler tradition and that's how they play the game. I'm by no means saying he's an elite QB though. He is good obviously and I think he'll be a very good QB someday.

I think ben will have a great career as long as he stays healthy.

it certainly looks like Favre is wanting to come back. I'm not sure how I feel about it as a packers fan, I was kind of looking forward to seeing Aaron Rodgers play but Favre is still one of the best QB's in the league so I dunno

he needs to stay retired. It is starting to become a joke. Especially when the GM won't return his calls because he is on "vacation".

Favre coming back would be great for some other team... for one season, as long as it isn't my beloved Vikes - although I have to admit the prospect of Favre facing his old team while dressed in Purple would be interesting. But it would be a huge mistake to have him come back with the Packers. It would send mixed messages to Rodgers and he is more than ready to take over, IMO. And in any case, they drafted Brohm.

He's starting to look pathetic.

i believe Favre can still play the game at a very high level theres no question. But I'm honestly sick of every offseason he's retired, no he's coming back, no he's retire'd , wait he's coming back crap. I don't think it's fair to his teamates to have to endure that every season, either retire or don't but enough with the flippy floppy.

Favre still has game left and determination but what the Packers have to think right now is "Who can we win more games with? Favre or Rodgers?" Other than Peyton and Brady please name another that could be better than Favre other than possibly Big Ben? To me Favre is the #3 best QB, but his "oh i retire CRY CRY" and then "oh i wanna play again" bullshit is pissing the Packers and his teammates off. I would like to see him return... but in another team.

I think you guys are forgetting something about this...sure, it's hectic for his team to retire and then want to return soon after, but think about it this way - if you were in his shoes, would you be doing the same thing, or would you be fine with sitting at home all day every day when you KNOW you can still play?

I think we'd all be struggling with this decision if we had to make it ourselves.

To be honest with you... I would be doing what Tony Romo is doing. Banging hot pop singers.

Well then don't retire in the first place. Or go and do something else now that you enjoy.

I normally don't agree too much with lildawg, but he nailed that one on the head.

If he comes back, I think he'll have a terrible season, and go out on the bottom. He should stay retired and have his last season as a Packer be a good one.
