Is it possible to do 170 in every position? Or no because of Alg?

Yes, if you need access to charts and/or ALG calculator, please let us know.

I hope you do--that would be interesting for sure. If you have access to any of the build simulators, I'd give that a go before actually doing the build. In my experience, it gets dicey quickly pushing speed beyond 160 on a rTE because of the other attributes and special abilities needed for that build. But go for it please!

Fwiw... Wise did one, if he wants to chime in.

I believe the end result was the excessive fatness of the TE sabotaged the on-field speed. The 55 pound difference between a min weight WR and a min weight TE made enough of a difference.

It could just be that Wise builds sh!t dots tho. It would be nice to have another example, so by all means, build away.

Lol. I'm kinda off making 174 spd 4-major dots and 170 spd 5-major dots tbh. You give up so so much for the last few points.

But as TJ and my thread said, fat TE too slow even if fast. The TE hit like 42.5 on speed script while WR can hit like 48.

At least that makes sense. Fat TE shouldn’t be as fast as a WR. Then again didn’t some dude just get chased down (or almost) by an OLine in the nfl?

lol

When does breakthrough get turned back on? I thought it was day 4 but I trained a dot like 10 times and no breakthrough

In theory yes, I believe the official lock out is 3 days. Breakthrough are still a rare occurrence though.

This guide advocates saving up 60 BTs before training, and even then you'll see 0-2 breakthroughs.

I haven't ever seen more than 2, and haven't gotten any on a couple dots.

I do have a batch of rookie dots right now and I'll post the results in a couple days, when they hit L5.

Today is the big day for those with Odd game days
For those on Even game days, tomorrow morning after roll over, you'll be able to do this before your game. Nightly XP will get you over the hump.

Building a dot is a marathon, not a sprint. Everyone out there, please do not ruin your experience building dots by obsessing over how many breakthroughs you get. They are very infrequent and sporadic because they designed to be. They are meant to be a "hey, that's cool!" kind of moment, not a "dammit!" kind of thing for every time one doesn't happen.

I'm honestly surprised people are making such a fuss about them...I barely notice when I get them
