Personally I like the idea of the byes. Make some drama between seeding and not just hold everything for the playoffs. Rest of it I can take or leave.

the good teams from the Snow League should have combined into the ICE league for 1 good league and 1 leftover league, as an example

I don't think less teams and less players (due to some artificial cap) actually solves or helps anything. It's also 0% enforceable. But RC having several great teams that we suck too much to beat, is not an RC issue.

Or just shrink the leagues.?

Like Tiger league, the only league in its bracket, with 3 CPU teams, and an 0-14 team with 0 human dots on it as one example.

Maybe the answer is have dynamic league sizes, that expand or contract with the demand.

A 6 team league also works with a 17 week season (4X2 + 3x3). I suppose a 10 team league could work too (3x4 + 1x5)

And of course, all of this would be a moot point if the CPU dots weren't completely and entirely worthless.

How dare I try to offer up options and give the community a choice? Sigh...

You can disagree with me on what's best for the game (that's fine obv) but to villianize asking the question is a lackluster take.

TJ, I don't think your "change league size" suggestions are actionable. The community won't be behind them, and Bort won't want to re-do all the scheduling, and I don't think they actually help/solve anything at plateau where we have 50+ full teams.

If you can't beat them.. organize a protest, lol.

ONE Champions league. 2 Divisions. 16 teams. Make the playoffs to stay in. Get replaced if you don't.

4 Pro leagues. 2 divisions in each. Winner and Loser of league Championships move up to replace those dropping out of Champions league. Everybody else can try again next season. 8 Teams in each division. Wanna whine about bot teams? Go buy more teams then and build more dots. Otherwise it is what it is.

All other leagues can be expanded if needed or condensed if not. If Pro gets too diluted then it can be condensed and the teams that move up could be added to based on strength of league and finishing record.

The "we" in my response was meant for the collective GLB.

But I of course have no issue with certain teams being great, it's inevitable in all 3 of the poll options that the Top teams (like RC's) win it all.

The difference for the 24 team options are for teams 13-24 which get the option to try to upset top teams as well as hone their blade/skill against them more often.

Championship League:
2 Divisions of 6 teams (12 teams total)....top 4 in each Division stay (8 playoff teams)....bottom 2 in each Division demote (4 non playoff teams) to Pro1 and Pro 2

Pro 1 and Pro 2 Leagues:
2 Divisions of 6 teams in each League (24 teams total in 4 Divisions)....top 2 in each League promote to Championship League (4 teams total who win first 2 playoff games), 2-4 place teams in each Division stay (12 teams total who lose 1st or 2nd round playoff game)....5-6 place teams in each Division demote to AAA1 and AAA2 (8 total non playoff teams)

AAA1 and AAA2 Leagues:
2 Divisions of 6 teams in each League (24 teams total in 4 Divisions)....top 4 in each League promote (8 teams total who win 1st playoff game), 3-4 place teams in each Division stay (8 teams total who lose 1st round playoff game)....5-6 place teams in each Division demote to AA (8 non playoff teams total)

AA Leagues
top 8 teams promote to AAA and then fill out AA league(s) as necessary

Considering Seth2562 doesn't even exist in GLB this poll is now void IMO.
