Cool. What the hell are you doing in Poland?

I work for the Marketing dept of a publishing company. How about you?

Right now I'm doing support for a big pharmaceutical company, but in August I start working at a small IT consulting firm/company (whatever).

So is that normal for publishing companies to send people to Europe?

The publishing company is actually based out of Ukraine. Not publishing like we think of. About 80% publishing and the rest is sales, etc of different publishing tools, equipment etc.

Is that the reason you moved out there? Or did you move out there for work?


I moved here because of my dad (he's from here). Had to do my last year of HS in an international school, and then did some schooling for IT here as well (4 year apprenticeship).

I moved out here to get a fresh outlook and the pay is great. I met the teacher here when I was in Ukraine for a General meeting one time.

Fresh outlook, eh? I can respect that.


Do y'all have football in Poland?

If they do I haven't found it my brother and kid play Futbol. We all watch NCAA and NFL on the computer though

That's cool....you guys watch it on something like TVU player, or do you also get the Yahoo NFL GamePass? The game pass rocks my socks off....I love it.
