If pk doesn't think a build is good, it must be horrible

I don't think you can add Spin as a bonus SA when it is already in the elusive tree

and 2 pieces of BT% are important

Your jumping is too low to make Hurdle worth.
And why do you choose stiff arm? Power through is the most important BT skill for PHB!

So you are saying that 50 in jumping isn't enough to work with hurdle.
How much jumping would you suggest then?

I go with 60 but see plenty of guys go with 40.

Also, you can't add spin as an extra SA

I think I would agree with PK and reddogrw on this here more going with 60, pushing jumping to 70+ it seems like you will have to give up on something else to get to 70+

Reason I asked is I am building a couple phb's at the moment and my initial thinking it taking jumping to 50 at most 60 depending on what my builds on them look like.

I actually agree with aaashai here. Infact, maybe even higher. Why would you build a receiver with only 50 catching then get Sticky Hands or some other catching SA or VA? So, if you're building to use HURDLE as a big part of your dot then you really want to get the most out of the SA's you choose. So make sure you have PLENTY of related skill to make it work more often and to make it work better. IMO.

what would you ditch then? lower strength or carrying? lol. lower speed? that's just silly to me. agility? maybe but i dont really push that anyway. vis? sure, guess you could ditch SYM but 20ish points in vis isnt going to give you more than a couple in jumping.

i saw hurdle fire constantly on my last powerback (the one i have now i didnt build the same). anything over 60 seems like overkill when hurdle is more of a backup SA. powerthrough is king. get everything you can to boost that and then let hurdle fire when guys dive.

i cant believe i retired this dot and didnt save his name. what a joke.

http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/player.pl?player_id=4511717

5.2 avg in WL and only 4 SAs fired. spin, hurdle, powerthrough and surge. hurdle fired constantly and this dot only had 60 jumping. 4 AEQ dot though. could ditch spin aeq/ce and go 2 BT% and a powerthrough piece and use CE for d4Y or something. save some skill points and train longer and the dot will look real good.

ps. fuck vision

That's what I was just thinking what KP stated above, what would you ditch. I am not saying that aaasahi is wrong but if you are going to take it that high something else is going to suffer if you go with hurdle and jumping.
Going to have to take a look at the phb on a team I am on and see how it works.

Is first step a must have on a beefy power back (who will have 130s or 140 speed)? I'm probably only going to take agility into the low 70s. MAYBE low 80s

What about surge?
