Forum > Goal Line Blitz > ChemGate: GLB Admins reset chemistry for a standing WL team showing favoritism and unfair competitive advantage
something like 9 or 10 seasons ago I forgot to send extensions to the payers on my team. The entire 55 man roster was all of my own dots, so no agent to remind me to send offers. Well I send a request to support to help with chem on day 41 , then day42 came and I re-signed all the exact same 55 dots
Day 43 got response from support
no chem forgiveness
I didn't care much, just reset the team

Chemistry is the dumbest feature in this game.

There wasn't any decision making involved here. It was a case of what you described: "when the (co-)owner completely forgot to reup the team."
So...you can claim laziness or stupidity for not resigning your own players and it is ok? Seems silly. More power to you though.

Wasnt talking about you. I am talking about dpride. They dont have to like you to cash your checks. But they definitely want to keep those checks coming in to keep the lights on.

*shrug* It's the site's policy, as you yourself admitted. But yes, I do think it's absolutely appropriate that a team that didn't actually change any players shouldn't have the same chemistry as a team that changed most of its roster.

I made the request, not Dpride, but I doubt that he's bought flex in a long time anyway.

I get your point. I really do. Real world sense of "chemistry" means your team doesnt take a hit because they stay together. Just doesn't seem consistent with other cases. Keep on keeping on. Anything to cause a discussion in GLB is good

I can't speak to Bane's experience, I just know this has been done for me before and for at least two other WL/Pro teams. But for the record, we still took a hit because of Dpride's mistake. We should be 100/100/100 and now we won't be until midseason.

He's guilty of putting you on ignore. A crime we should all indulge in.

It did happen with KC. They requested a chem reset from support because they merged with the folded Cambodia Mountain Men. The admins granted it.

I wasn't aware this was a big super secret thing until this thread.
I'm not sure how long it's been common practice, because I've never actually requested one for one of my teams, but I thought everyone knew you could request a chem reset when you either merged numerous players from one team into another or changed team ownership
If not everyone is getting a chem reset to 70/70/70 when they request it during the offseason, then they should be, because that levels the playing field for everyone.
If they just made 70/70/70 the minimum, then it still punishes teams who swap players in and out every year but doesn't cripple teams who need to swap out large parts of the team.
