I like that we now classify "not intentionally losing games by sabetouging our own AI" as helping.
I also am going to use this in real life. Every time I don't stab a stranger with a knife I will expect them to thank me for helping them.

the second one isn't really a fact either, because being #2 seed, you are guaranteed to stay in WL even if you loose the first playoff game (if they take the two highest ranked playoff losers like they've said)

1) Teams not adjusting, or even running a worse AI the game before the playoffs is actually a pretty common thing. (In real life it's common to bench star player etc). They don't want to show their hands or whatnot in the playoffs... now that doesn't appear to be the case here, unless jd is just trolling you to get you upset. But he's pretty much admitted that he put in the bort AI just to fuck you over.
2) Collusion involves both teams conspiring, so this doesn't apply here
3) The rules are pretty vague on the matter, but it seems like they don't allow for you to clearly and obviously run AIs that are not intended to actually provide offense or defense. Example, running all goallline defense, or intentionally never covering WR1, or running all QB sneaks with a slow ass QB etc etc. Since he's using Bort's AI, obviously it is sub-par, but it is a "valid" AI.
So what you are upset about is that jd decided to not try at all during the game, lost it by enough to give them the tie breaker. Does it go against the "spirit" of the game... yeah... and you could say that no team in real life would ever do this... but then again... no team in reallife has ever had a press conference to talk shit to a team that they might play in the playoffs first round (that I know of at least).
I don't think any rules were broken, but yeah it's a pretty dick move, to match the dick move of the post you made prior to the game being played. Just roll with it, it's a game

I do agree GLB is a game. On the scale of life involving family, health, etc it is very low. However this is a GLB forum. On the scale of this forum, GLB is a worthwhile topic to discuss.
