he's still got to fund their 401k

They have income coming in from GLB2 as well. Maybe moreso at this point than from GLB classic. There are a lot of new users playing glb2, and some have anywhere from 20-50 players. The only problem over there is they need MORE teams because every off-season there are a ton of homeless players. But I still think the income coming in from GLB2 along with whats left of the spenders on GLB classic, the game will definitely stay afloat for more than 2 seasons. But if they don't fix a few of these issues, like the one being addressed in the OP, then who knows. Eventually the people who spend $ on the game will get fed up.

Servers do not cost anywhere close to what you evidently think that they cost.......

This is the only suggestion that has any real potential to be implemented. Only because it slows down the inevitable.

Going to be sad to see. When I signed up 6 years ago there 4 or 5 Pro leagues I think. Can't imagine GLB with less Pro leagues than when I joined.
