I'm sure a play like you describe is possible but I have only to look at his build to know that can't possibly be the norm, and my earlier spot check of his actual plays have confirmed it. When he gets pancaked like he did 55 times last season, he's not taking out 2 blockers or even 1. When he's not pancaked almost any o-line or FB will handle him pretty easily. He only had 18 tackles last season, and only 4 were for loss, with 16 whiffs, so even if he gets by his blocker, the HB has a good chance to get by him anyway. I've watched enough film and seen this kind of build on film to know that most of the tackles he dies make are pursuit-type after the runner gets a few yards downfield. If he were really holding up against run blocking like you describe then way more than 4 of his 34 tackle attempts from last season would have been for loss.
