Attempting to make a game that is catered to the more casual, low intensity gamer has nothing to do with whiners. That is a much, much larger market than the hardcore or tedius gamer. Whether or not a game can succeed at whichever mark on that spectrum you aim for depends on a wide variety of things. GLB2 has largely missed their target imo.

for a guy who is 3-3, 2 of those wins being lolblowouts, owns a bunch of the dots, and is networked with ADD... you should probably switch to glb2 along with all the ppl youre complaining about. cuz guess what, youre probably one of those people.

See you are missing the point....That is the draw to GLB classic, there is always something to learn. This is a cerebral game, and each round of dots I have built, i always find something I could do to improve. I could follow build plans that the network i belong to, but that is the fun of this game, challenge yourself to keep improving your dot projects. I don't want to win every game, if I did, I would get bored and quit. The people who make this game challenging are the ones that make it fun. Who wants to go over to GLB2 and just place skill points. The dynamic of the building process here leads to the making dots that stand out and an individual. Not that GLB2 doesn't do the same, I really don't know. But any monkey can just place points, its just a matter of putting it in right spot. And just don't get the graphics, dots over techmo bowl figures. That may have been impressive in 1992, not now. Oh well, it really doesn't matter anymore. Will play it out til the end.

youve been playing this game for years and years im sure. the build process is just as boring here as over on glb2. we pretty much all build the same way, some of us just pay more attention than others. youre kidding yourself if you think applying SPs twice a season is challenging.
doesnt really matter though. all i am saying is this game is probably just as dull as glb2. ppl will whine here, ppl will whine there.
and lol at you making fun of the glb2 graphics. you currently watch 22 circles move around on a screen.

Well to say either building processes are challenging may be false but glb 2 is flat out lame and takes no effort what's so ever. There is absolutely no feeling of accomplishment when building a player there because it didn't take any kind of effort.
But both games are dead, no doubt about that.

They are cheesy and cumbersome to watch. Dots get the job done just fine.
The build process is certainly not difficult now but that is only because it is static, not everyone has always known how to squeeze out every SP. Saying the process is easy now is rather silly because we have all been doing it for years.
GLB2 player building requires drooling at the computer screen. If your blank stare doesn't get you what you want I'm sure you can find builds to copy with a respec.

Yes they do, if anyone plays this game to watch the game, then you really should just play madden.
And totally agree with the sense of accomplishment comment on the build process. I look forward to earning the training points each day and making the decisions of what skills to train. Very much like a virtual workout. To each their own though. That's what some like, some don't have the patience for it. Oh well, maybe thing will change for the better, only time will tell.

Replays are mainly IMO mostly for coordinators. And I find it less chaotic watching the dots than to watch the techmo guys

If you aren't watching the replays I am unsure why you even attempt to build a player? Especially multiple players? wtf is the point?

They were painful to watch at first. But I kinda prefer them at this point. You actually see the interactions more clearly and thus understand better about why you are failing certain concepts.

Exactly. Kinda be cool if they implemented them here. I never watch replays here anymore. I mean, it's fucking dots moving around..

At this point I don't need to watch replays here. The scroll text PBP tells me everything I need to know about the game and I don't have to sit through every one of my dots 60 yard TD's.
