Greatest of all time, and it's not even close, in my opinion.
That was a completely epic thread made even better by the fact that Bort got butthurt
Someone should dig up that thread again, and it should be stickied for the rest of the existence of GLB

Editorial - It's time to wake up Bort
by thehazyone
"I've been a very big advocate of Bort and company when it comes to this game, but I'm starting to join the long list of people becoming disenchanted with the way things are going. Teams are gutting left and right and usually the reasons are the same... the number of gutted teams that exist and the lack of communication regarding changes. These are valid complaints. How long has the gutting thread been up in the Announcements forum? Since season 2. What's been done about gutting? Nothing.
It HAS to be fixed and it doesn't have to be Bort doing the fixing. What are the other admins doing? Can't they go through the leagues and evaluate them and make proper restructures? Hell, I'll go through every league myself and make recommendations on teams that should get promoted and relegated. I know it would probably take me a maximum of one-two days time to do this. If I can do it in that time, why can't they? I'll do it for free Bort and I know what to look for. E-mail me.
I've spent over $500 but I'm among the crowd that is going to start recycling flex points by retiring players. Until I see the main issues that are destroying leagues addressed, I will no longer purchase additional flex points. Yea, I know, big deal, for every one thehazyone and his $500 worth of flex there will be 50 people who don't care and spend $10 to replace my money. Thinking that, however, will lead to the demise of this oh so promising game. If I had the money to buy the game, I would, because the potential for this game, for both players and site admin is unlimited. I love this game, more than any online endeavor I've ever seen. It's why I started this site, but it doesn't mean I am going to just blindly sit by and watch it fail.
I know I've said it before, but I'm going to keep saying it. This is much too big a project for one person. Get some help Bort. Some real help. Before it's too late."

Awesome. If I'm not mistaken that came from the Bugs forum before he was hired. You win this thread.
