Here's the thing. If everyone was legitimately just trying to use up their flex, they could easily do so pretty fast. But the people asking for more free players are without a doubt not those people. They aren't trying to unload their flex as fast as possible. And they are part of the non boost population as well. Anything free is what they want.

I know those words fall on deaf ears when it comes to you though considering how you viewed the game prior to age brackets.

Have you ever had an argument without using irrelevant and unrelated shit as a crutch?

I don't know how to say this without sounding arrogant, but here goes...

I'm a genius. You really shouldn't argue with a genius.

another free player does nothing for me but add another player to the pool which will still not be enough in the grand scheme of things. I have two free players now. Neither of those free players change my likelihood of buying flex. in fact they probably decrease the probability as at some point i will just be down to two free players and then probably leave all together. A third free player would just be a small increase to the daily monitoring that I have to do.

When the age leagues came out it really exposed some issue because alot of leagues and teams were supported by the non boosters. Although those players ended up being typically relatively superior, they did help bolster the numbers that gave the allusion of more paying customers. Obviously they became so predominant that WGG thought they could just force them to pay and many never had the intention of it. Although age base leagues are more fair in turns of competition, there has been an observed decline in teams sense. its now at a point where most leagues only have one league, with only half of those teams actually competitive.

I would enjoy just building a player to level 79 and having him play with a finished build instead of everything in between. I think the way things show with so many disinterested teams, owners, agents etc that most people think that way as well.

I currently plan on building 0 more dots. If a 3rd free player were to be added - I would build a dot using said free player (Also buying custom eq).

This would add one more dot to the pool that wouldn't have been there otherwise.

I can see your argument though as far as people potentially using their 3rd freebie in the scenario: "Cool, I was going to build (and pay for) 3 dots next season. Now I only have to pay for 2 because I have a free player option!"

I'm not sure which option would net them more $$$, but I know the option of adding a 3rd free player would extend the life of GLB by infusing it w/ a group of free dots.

You have to understand that bhall's argument is based on the premise that people will buy more flex to spend on GLB1.

I could care less about anymore free dots.
I mean if GLB wants to do it I'll roll one and fit him out with CEQ but really so what?

I'm more with Moretti and really don't know how this thread got high jacked into a free dot discussion.

GLB needs to add the option (not a requirement or even an expectation) to let us do paid resets and extensions on our players.
An option to instant roll a Lvl 79 would be sweet too.

The juice this would give Pro Level competition would be incredible and reenergize a lot of us long time agents and give new agents a reason not to get bored and quit.

The benefits of GLB Classic is way more than player building. Herding all the cats to participate as recruiters, scouts, coordinators and individual tactic setters is the fun part of the game and is what will sustain GLB for the long term.

But continuing to wait one whole year to see how your player build ideas play out in Natty Pro or the WL is just too long and bores a lot of old agents and definitely the new guys to tears.

Your odds of getting another free dot are much better than insta-79s.

I'm sure you're right. No new coding involved, no whining about one agent teams and a balm from Bort to make everyone think he still cares.

But I'd still have to wait a whole frick'n year adjusting build plans and religiously watching training percentages just to see how he turns out. I mean that's cool for some guys.....
but I think the instant gratification of spending an hour on player builder, paying the flex you'd spend over the year anyway (plus a premium = to an initial roll) would be so attractive to a lot of new and old guys that the game would be re-energized not to mention sustained.
