hell it's a shitload easier than the bouncing people around teams to get them enough money to train while not putting them on the roster so they didn't get XP... hell I remember teams would have 3+ teams just to get this done.

SSB isn't even in this discussion since max XP and no training without being on a team killed them.

And SSBers didn't serve a purpose other than essentially exploiting the system. Non-boosters actually served a role as a temporary fix for teams that lacked a few dots. The way it is now, it's a nightmare in the minors. I had a MUCH easier time filling a roster for a Pro team last season than I've had for minors teams. Only being able to sign serviceable dots that were created over the span of a couple of weeks is ridiculous.

Introducing age based leagues absolutely devastated recruiting in the minor leagues. It's not like reg pro+ where you can recruit dots created during multiple seasons. With ABLs attrition kills you in the minors.

yeah, i dont see the issue being non boosters. its ssb teams that are the issue. it wont take people long to figure out how to get around the "must be on a team to train" rule

There is no way to get around it. If there was, someone would have already figured it out and you would see a team in the Underground leagues beating everyone by 100.

Yeah, pretty pissed that this game was killed and people like you are too stupid to realize what killed it.

There should be a way to incorporate both into figuring out how to keep the teams competitive while allowing for nonboosters and such to be a vital part of the game as well. So I vote -1 to the OP... but only because it doesn't really fix things right. The answer is to have a better system which uses everything smartly.

In my limited knowledge of the higher levels and what pisses them off, is the limited window that they can recruit dots from (ie. they need ppl to have built dots at 'this' time so that they are a the right level to recuit them.) What if people could create a dot at the level they wanted it to be? so if I need an OT aged whatever and there was nothing out there, instead of getting a CPU dot, I'd buy an OT at the age I wanted. I would have to pay for all the boosts and fun stuff like that, it'd effectively be the same creation as if you were using the VPB just without the previous day button.

Yes that will probably be abused, but to be honest, I think people would rather have a high level PRO/World League than worry about how the dots were bought.

and yes this borderlines on the 'buy lvl 79 dots' argument, but this opens it up to all GLB customers

Anyone that didn't notice the big dropoff in the userbase when non-boosters were killed off doesn't notice much of anything, tbh.

I've most likely spent more money on this game than people that call me a low rent mofo.

Good owners don't have any trouble in recruiting good dots in the minor leagues.

Big surprise. Dude with a shitload of dots that make up about half the rosters on his teams comes in the thread talking about how easy recruiting is.

I have 11 dots on this team - http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/roster.pl?team_id=923
I have 7 dots on this team - http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/roster.pl?team_id=250
I have 3 dots on this team - http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/roster.pl?team_id=229

Just so you are clear, there is a maximum roster size of 55.

That means that I own 21 out of the 164 dots on my rosters

Half of 55 = 27.5
Half of 164 = 82

then there's that voegma or whatever guy

You are obviously one of those people that confuse rounding up buddies to create dots for your new team with recruiting.
