understandable that new things are being worked on, but many of us feel like if the original game was to get a few tweaks, it would bring back some of the people that have been lost and the people who just lost faith in WGG as a whole, and it would encourage people like myself to buy more flex and build more dots. That could and probably would in turn increase the possible user base of whatever the new stuff may be.
Leaving the original userbase with the feeling of "they dont' care about us" is not the way to grow a new game.

I do hope that you guys do try and sift through some of the trolling and see that there are a few suggestions that could improve things for the users of GLB1

it could bring some back though

GLB2 isn't going to bring in new users like they think it will. I personally have never even logged in over there because of what many of my friends here have said about it. Some of those guys were testers and were really excited about it until they logged on and played it.

What is the answer to getting some of these guys back then?

Glb1 vastly improved the sim and the playbook and the decline continued. A few tweaks to chemistry recovery and a couple other things aren't going to make the game any more playable for people. Eventually the break down of insta 79's will hit and that will be the last ditch effort to sustain life to this game.

Whenever you build up the prestige and reward for something, more people get into trying to achieve it.

An official GLB acknowledgement page listing the league champions, tourney champions, best coordinators etc...would build up excitement. When you offer excitement, and acknowledgment, people will flock and pay for it.

Idk if I would be for or against insta 79's. It would pretty much kill off any dots who were not lvl 79 (or close). It would be one last crack at making a buck for GLB though, I guess.

Itīs good to see that a couple of Old School GLBīers are fighting for and still sticking with the original GLB Version, the ONE and ONLY.

For me, I tried GLB2 and Iīve came to the result: NEVER, EVER AGAIN...

I will hangout here, like I did it since Season 2, until the last one will turn the light outs, hopefully not happenening to soon, as I still love this Community & Game.

Probably would be provided with a conversion of some sort. Provided they just let go of the minors idea all together, which would be smartest.

GLB is like a dead team forum. There's absolutely no motivation by it's creators to make it exciting.

I'd buy way more flex if dots were cheaper.

GLB1 is hanging on by people who played this game for years now. Lack of advertising, maybe working with Zynga instead of Warrior General would of got it on a social media site. Since GLB started and now, there is a whole group of people that like football and computer games and probably don't know it exists.

Minors would have to be obsolete because no one in their right mind would go through "the struggle" of the minors for so long when you could just create a level 79 player.

I'm on the side of thinking that just being able to create a lvl 79 from the get go wouldn't be very fun. It would essentially ruin it for all of those who had to wait a year for their level 79s to make it to Pros/WL. I mean, what fun is that?

Moral of story: Ability to create level 79s would pretty quickly lead to the end of GLB.

Exactly. Thus why it is a last ditch effort to sustain life. To make provide a player market.

Granted I'm not sure it HAS to end glb1.

Step 1: remove the minor league system. Offer insta 79's at a fair price and conversions for minor players (possibly even just 100% flex refund as it's just gonna be spent anyways). Insta 79's wouldn't be nearly as well built as already 79's. More thought would have to go into that than I'm willing to put forward ATM.

Step 2: let all the old builds play out their plateau and announce a date in which all decline builds will be forced into retirement.

Step 3: you now hopefully have a field of insta 79 dots even if it is only a couple leagues worth. You have no lower levels to screw up with any sim changes to plateau's. You can think of expansions to player building, the playbook, and the sim.

There are options beyond insta's but it starts a whole new adventure.

Cheaper dots would help..I would build a shitload of new dots if the price was right.
