I've got a handful of players on GLB 2 and initially it seemed kind of interesting with the player building.

That has since faded yet I still check in to GLB (1) daily, actually bother with some of the forums here and honestly take more of an interest in my dots than I ever will in the bots(sprites?) and am not a fan of the Season/Ladder wtf-ever schedule.

GLB (1) the rest of the way for me most likely.

Maybe that will be better as the dots progress. I'm still giving 2 a shot, but am not all that impressed so far.

Yeah, that's pretty much how I am. Maybe things will look better down the road, but I'm not holding my breath right now.

Pretty sure my 60 sprinting WR can outrun my 11 sprinting QB

People like you are what ruined the forums, tbh. Always crying about people flaming and trolling. You're completely oblivious to the fact that without trolls and flaming the forums are boring as hell.

Building a player in GLB2 isn't that interesting, but being an owner and coordinator on GLB2 is still a really nice challenge. The ladder aspect is great. A gameplan in GLB2 can make a huge difference. I have moved most of my flex and cares over to 2, and I only check in to GLB1 to assign SPs and train every once in awhile.

Games in 2/3 of the days is great, and the movement of the top teams on the ladder shows that there is still a lot of skill in GLB2.

Building a player in GLB2 isn't "hard", which makes it better for the casual player. The best player builders, and the teams with the most cares in GLB2 are still going to win, but the time it takes to become great is under 48 hours if you watch 8 or 9 sims and make adjustments.

You don't have to spend two years to start assigning your SAs in GLB2, so those that stick around are going to see games that matter from rookie to plateau. The player builder in GLB1 has a ton of customization, but who wants to wait 9 seasons to start seeing FFs and INTs from those builds?

In GLB1, you get the rookie leagues dominated by Pee Wee building teams and it takes three seasons to really sort out the leagues into the Elite and the rest. Because of the ladder, you can get elite games in every season under the new structure.

It isn't for everyone, but there's a lot of people who are really liking it.

gonna be interesting to see if Bort ever swallows his pride, ditches GLB2, comes back here, takes it back to beta, and makes this one the great game it could be.

Im not holding my breath.

For me, GLB Classic is better, but GLB2 is also good. But in GLB2 you can't attribute SA points as here, and the ability distribution is more diverse, and here it is simple.
