The preseason is never going to be used for chemistry. The preseason is strictly for testing. Free games to look at the new roster before the season and get everything worked out. It isn't meant to be taken seriously.

The scrimmage idea has so many loop holes. You may as well just have a pay to increase chemistry option.

then what is the solution for chemistry issues then. It makes no sense the way it is set up.

Bhall, I appreciate you bringing the other side of the argument to the table btw.

I don't believe it will ever change because it would be a major overhaul of the system if so. They can't tie it in the same way as GLB2 because there are so many differences. So that is unfortunate.

What you could do is increase chem for winning away games and more so for winning against Promotions. But that won't help the average teams.

these chemistry issues make good teams into average teams

Not a bad idea, but I'd put a roof on how many games could be used to improve chem, otherwise we will just hear more about teams with flex to burn have an advantage over those that don't.

Yes. and +1 to anything that will help resolve the chemistry clusterfuck that is GLB.

absolutely has to be a cap. I said 5 in the OP that 5 scrims would be the most. 5 Wins would get you an additional +10 to chem or 5 losses would at least get you an additional +5.

The bottom line is that it shouldn't take half a season or more to get your chemistry back just because you had a bunch of roster turnover.
Hell, you can just buy a new team and have a grace period and start with a better chem than you can if you turn over a third of your roster. That is just stupid. A start up team should never have a better chem than a team that has been playing for a while, regardless of how much turnover they have.

+1, if scrims can help you gain chem points faster, i am all for it. But i doubt there will be anymore changes in this game.

Could just increase the increments given back from the 70 to 100 range to +2 instead of 1.

+1 i think there should be a way to regain chem a little quicker to have some sort of shot at being competitive

I think you should be able to purchase ChemLottery tickets with flex that will increase your team chemistry by random intervals

I agree that preseason should count for chemistry, I know this game isn't exactly RL, but I'd say that commonsense would presume that any preseason game would contributy towards a better chemistry.

I don't think you can use your scrimmage idea as you may as well just buy chemistry increases with flex.

I don't think you can get rid of chemistry either, we don't have to like it, but it is a decent part of the game. Originally posted by Guppy, Inc
bort should have made it much more specific, like qb/wr, or offensive line, secondary, etc, or even by individual player.
I definitely agree with this, but considering the time it takes for support to answer anything and that staff here do seem to have completely forgotten about GLB 'Classic', I'd imagine they wouldn't put the effort in to write this.

Regular Season W/L's don't count towards chemistry so why on earth would we make the preseason, a time in which is used for teams to practice, competitive?
