I haven't sent recruiting PMs in like 25 seasons. Blind offers ftw.

Every other season, you will have agents say "Don't send us blind offers -- PM us first."

And I have a better than 85% signing rate with those that I PM and talk about the team and our philosophy of management -- as well as where we see their player fitting in.


This season even as the Championship team, it is next to impossible to get the players that I target to sign. And invariably, I get the rejection PM and look in my outbox to see that they never even read the PM that I sent.

Only one has signed the old way this season -- all of the rest have come to us on their own through the "team needs" in the marketplace.

The combined inbox is just too cluttered that people aren't going to take the time to wade through it to find the actual PMs in middle of the alerts.

when you own a few teams and GM a few more it's over bearing. I imagine they want us to use the new instant messenger thing, but I have not opened that bar since they added the feature to close it down. That thing does not work from my phone, and 80% of the time I read and reply to PM's is from my phone. When I actually log in on a computer I am usually doing owner and/or dot builder things.

If some like the combined inbox/alerts that is fine, but myself I hate it, especially after 5+ years of them being separated.

I accidentally deleted all my msg's because of the combined setup .. nice ... I might as well quit .... no record of my conversations now because of the combined setup .... thx guy

same here, and it REALLY pissed me off when it deleted the stickied messages. I thought those didn't get deleted unless you unchecked them.

Just go back to how it was before, it was so much better and did not need "fixed" at all.
