if i could figure out how to work jumping into my powerbacks, i would definitely take hurdle over LTS. with 61 jumping PT>spin>hurdle>LTS imo.

LTS and Hurdle provide different elements. Since Diving tackles seem to be a pretty strong I would argue Hurdle (considering it is a break tackle for diving tackles which are quite common and gets a buff from QF) is currently the better buy. Fires all the time on my PB.
LTS would still be worthwhile.
This is ages ago so you're going to have to take my word for it, but Stobie once tested LTS on the test server. We were concerned it needed a pick up because you never saw the name (which we later learned was because of the priority listing). Testing showed it was working perfectly fine and was a very valid SA, though.
LTS had a direct effect in increasing the quantity of broken tackles when we ran the test. Even did it on a TE.
In regards to the fake element on a QB rusher with no +% fake, I wouldn't recommend it. I've got a base 110 agility/96 vision rushing QB and it doesn't fire all that much against quality competition. http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=4340726
I do advocate having as many fake/break SAs as you can, though. Kind representative in the chosen name I have with the rushing QB. Juke/Spin/Power Thru/Stiff Arm and could still use more.

would you go with LTS or SA on a break tackle focused QB ?

for clarity, when you say "ages ago" , was that before the sim stopped getting major changes every off season, or like7 seasons ago when they came out of Beta?
Just asking because I think some tgings , especially different break tackle scores, changed a lot since like S12(for example) so those test may not still be reliable in today's sim

and taking from the part where you posted "(which we later learned was because of the priority listing)" I assume this was way back when said testing was performed.

thanks - I vaguely remember something about SA being better at breaking tackles attempted from the side and LTS/PT better at breaking head on tackles
or am I making that up ?

Between those two I'd go with Spin, but his agility is a bit low for either IMO. He will spin, but will have trouble recovering and getting back to speed when slowed by a tackle attempt.

yeah something like that.

This would have been wayyyyyy back, possibly s12-ish but could have been earlier. I can't remember the exact timeframe. It was pre-advisory board (and pre-Catch22 as admin).
No doubt things changed, Spin got more valuable with the slider bonus that was added.
