I have been bored for years for mainly because building dots is more a mathematical equation than an RPG. Just waiting for that pile of flex points to evaporate

Yeah. When I first started the dots I scouted were scattered all across the board. Now they almost all look the same. Everybody's kinda gotten the system down enough that even a mediocre dot builder can build a dot decent enough. Some time ago, if you weren't on the top of your game you were easily noticed as not good enough. I build much better dots than I did when I started... but there's no way to improve past anyone else... only build them just as good. OC's and DC's now have much more say in the outcomes of games than dot builders.
All the extra skill points made builds much closer in comparison when looking at the grand scheme of things. A huge deficiency in EL isn't the same thing as it was prior to the change in building.

just imagine if the dot building process was even faster
how quick would one get bored with this game and stop logging in
4+ years and I am still experimenting with builds. If I could insta build or get a dot to plateau in just a few months I am sure I would have lost complete interest long ago
quicker builds and no coordinating will kill techno GLB2 fast.
I hope mighty butt kickers is better , but imo programmers shoulda put their main work into the one that got them to where they could afford to develop further games /shrug
I'm content with current game, but will admit I miss the seasonal changes
I could see a lot of advancements in gameplay for GLB2 down the road. I don't think boredom will hit that fast for people that like the game. There is still some coordinating to be done as it is an intermediate level. Will still have to make certain plans for certain teams. Plus with seasons being 50ish days long now it will still be awhile before a dot hits level 25. Not to mention it will be quite awhile before superstars hit the scene. Then that will change a lot of things. That is at least a year and a half of interest for people that like the graphics and without taking into account any major changes within that time.

who could possibly "like" the graphics?
just saying, the 80's was like 30 years ago. I actually enjoyed IntelliVision Football graphics back then... but anyone who plays GLB for the graphics?

More so can stand the graphics. Personally I have a hard time standing the side to side view. But a lot of people do actually seem to like it. Once you get past that it can be pretty fun. I can't wait till it goes live and there actually is more competition than playing against myself and some admins every day. Though there is something about beating up on DD that is fun.

OK, I am gonna need your definition of " a lot of people"

Like it was probably strong. Not seem to mind it probably would have been better wording. Been around a couple private forums where guys actually said they didn't mind it. I don't personally like the side to the side thing though.
