I get what you are saying. And I agree with Shocks that I would like them to be private games if you could just schedule anyone for them. Being cross conference it is likely you aren't going to play them in any meaningful games besides a possible week 1 matchup (which i hate when it happens like that) or day 39/40.

and this has what exactly to do with the OP? he's talking about making games useful and you blathering on about making them private which isnt even part of the OP.

If you don't understand than maybe you need to stop talking to people about their reading comprehension....

if you're worried about them being private or not private or revealing secret stuff then you could either NOT play the games at all or do whatever you do now in public games (use a different AI or whatever).

The suggestion is just about NOT having to play 3 or 4 worthless CPU teams.

Right. Except the preseason games are not private. They are public scheduled games by GLB. Which is why it makes sense for cross conference games. Your suggestion would be making the preseason just free insta scrims. Which I am fine with as long as they aren't public.

At this point we really don't even need a preseason game at all though considering the game isn't changing.
