What's his face is over there setting up a few multis getting ready for them... already said they would be back in 2014
That should take care of at least 3 teams

Young teams are already disbanding and agents retiring dots in anticipation of the start of GLB 2
.

That's pure speculation. I'm in forums where folks are already organizing for a S38 build, and the new teams I joined for S37 have given no indication that we're doing anything other than full speed ahead.

Laughable that you think GLB1 will slow down for GLB2....

If Burt had any sense he would have made a different sport, so GLBers could part time play both..

Now, people will have to choose between GLB1 and GLB2, and after ppl realize how lol GLB2 is (if Burt's promises don't come true) they will come running back to GLB1...

Not sure why the line needs to be drawn? You can certainly play both. GLB2 will easily suck in more newb agents tho as the concepts are easy to pick up and there are plenty of opportunities to watch your player play in games even without paying a dime.

doesn't really matter how you build it, there will always be people who say he still isn't WL quality even while they are playing in the WL

The math was done in some PF, and GLB2 is way more expensive than GLB1.

Players don't have equipment and you get a free one at least with free AP and SP boosts. The only thing you would have to pay for is if you wanted 3 extra seasons worth of watching them at plateau.

The only reason GLB2 is more expensive is because your player goes through their career faster than GLB1.

fwiw you probably get the better buy in GLB2 because your player is actually worth a crap from rookie to vet.

yes and no. The math in that thread was done without taking the 1100/630 SPs from CEQ taken into account. When that was included, only the 50 flex players were relatively more expensive to their 100 flex counterparts here. If you take an average from the 3 tiers of players, on a per game played basis, GLB2 is actually a tiny bit cheaper.

However, because the game moves at a faster pace, you will spend flex faster. But, like Bhall said, GLB2 will probably be the better value because you don't have to wait 3 or 4 seasons before your dot starts to perform, let alone the 7+ season it takes to get to plateau.

Because of higher turnover on dots and less flex return at retirement, the flex tally rises quickly.

I guess it really just depends on how you look at it. I look at the first year of my dots life cycle as me dumping kerosene all over my money and lighting it on fire in GLB1.

But when it comes to GLB2, I don't see that as the case at all. Plus I can watch my dot whenever I feel like by getting in pick up games and there are more meaningful games to watch during the season as well.

I would say it will be similar to how the number of people players last years Madden goes down when new one is released. GLB 2 will be better and that is what many will choose to play.
