This could be quite a problem. If GLB 1.0 becomes a wasteland while GLB 2.0 is still in the closed Alpha stage, that will really curb the enthusiasm of both newbies who stumble across GLB 1.0 and the few die-hards who remain. And a significant chunk of the people who bail out early on GLB 1.0 might decide in the meantime that they don't miss the game much after all, and thus might never bother to come back for GLB 2.0.

But, hey, just a paying customer here. Not like I've ever run an online game company before, so I'm sure I have this completely wrong.

Unless it's a BETTER version then this why even go play it ? Not saying I won't take a look with my flex left. The people here like Football so they'll stay unless of course it's a better version of this IMO. They better hope it's a mass appeal game so the new blood can come otherwise....................................

Other then D League Challenge I haven't made a dot here in like 3 seasons. PERSONALLY i'm looking for a better version of this game , not sure about anyone else.

Considering Bort was talking about "live coaching" in one of the Q & As, I'm guessing that will be a part of the new game instead of the old game.

I hated that game, everytime I'd start winning by one score, the other guy would quit, freezing the game.

Any time I lost the coin toss the other person would elect to receive and then would quit after their first offensive possession. That game sucked balls.

If you have AIs with the option of live coaching that would be purdy cool. Of course live coaching would definitely have its advantages, but the AI would ensure not getting frozen. Not sure how to work the logistics of that.

Only one individual can own a team? No more OC/DC? Or can all coaches be a part of this sim? My god, my head it exploding just thinking about the possibilities.

if its any good ill probably just keep my current dots then build players over on the new game.

I'm here regardless and that other game is going to have to be omg! to lure me to play both.
