oh god no... I hated that... it also I think promoted farm teams and hurt teams that had to recruit season by season

the whole concept of cash should never have been added to the game. if anything, it should have been what is used to buy aeq. all cash does is handicap anyone trying to start a new team outside of the rookie/pw level.

The salary dots earn could go to buying the flex needed to boost them and add CEQ. Just a thought.

Would be great for agents, but why would Bort ever do that? I assume boosting is the games main income.

Tying salary to performance was the only interesting thing I ever saw, but in the end you'd rather not have to cut players because you can't afford them. If the game had started and stayed like that, people would have lived with it, but we have all now grown up with the GLB that lets you make players with your friends and not have to cut one of them just because they played too well.

Just take the bank account out of it and instead allow teams to pick upgrades instead.
Start of the season you get $$$ or points based on what league you are in.

Practice Field - 10 Points = Required to add the following:
Cone Drill - 10 Points = +3 Agility/-3 Stamina on all players
Wind Sprints - 10 Points = +3 Speed/-3 Stamina on all players
Passing Drills - 10 Points = +3 Throwing/+3 Catching/-3 Stamina on all players
Kicking/Punting Practice - 10 Points = +5 Kicking/+5 Punting/-1 Stamina on all players

Weight Room - 10 Points = Required to add the following:
Heavy Bag - 10 Points = +5 Tackling/-3 Vision on all players
Jump Rope - 10 Points = +5 Jumping/-3 Stamina on all players
Treadmill - 10 Points = +5 Stamina on all players
Free Weights - 10 Points = +3 Strength/-3 Vision on all players
Climbing Wall - 10 Points = +5 Carrying/-3 Stamina on all players

Parade Route - 20 points = +.5 to all attributes for all playoff games

For example, you would get 20 points to spend in rookie and 5 more points to spend every season after. Upgrade spending would automatically reset every season.

Takes away player salary, stadium construction, etc.

Isn't a cash grab to force people to boost a new "coach dot", which shouldn't be an agent controlled thing, it should be a team controlled thing.

Good God are you kidding? Folks would log out in droves and never return to that nonsense.

I think you underestimate the pull of a new feature. After so many seasons of a stale sim, I think owners would love to have a new feature to play with.

it's an interesting idea... and it would allow for teams to sort of pick a philosophy... but not sure I'd really want such a huge change... plus it would make recruiting harder for non farm teams as a run focused team would have that much harder of a time recruiting WRs etc

interesting, but I'd have to see it in practice

Allow players to buy game day boosts in moral or player stats with their cash. Keep the boost limited so its not a huge factor but still enough to make a difference if they save their cash for specific games. This makes the most sense to me for for player cash.
