he must be a bears fan
Forum > Goal Line Blitz > You know I thought of something, in the NFL there are lots of QBs that throw about as many intercepts as touchdowns!

if he would have had his shoes off he would have seen it

1.94 isn't exactly the identifier to good or bad to be honest
Player: TD to Pick Ratio, Hall of Fame Year
Aikman: 1.17, 2006
Staubach: 1.4, 1.985
Montana: 1.96, 2000
Warren Moon: 1.32, 2006
Terry Bradshaw: 1.01, 1989
John Elway: 1.32, 2004
Jim Kelly: 1.35, 2002
Dan Marino: 1.67, 2005
Joe Namath: 0.79, 1985
I think it is safe to say that no one will ever mention Romo in the same breath as one of the all-time greats like Joe Montana or Marino...
Current Players
Player: Ratio, reason for inclusion
Drew Brees: 1.96, seems obvious
Peyton Manning: 2.08, seems obvious
Kyle Orton: 1.42, the guy everyone, who doesn't like Romo, believes should start
Carson Palmer: 1.45, the guy people seem to believe will turn around the woes of the Cards
Ben Roethlisberger: 1.77, not real sure
Matthew Stafford: 1.48, I like him as a player and I just wanted to throw it out there
Eli Manning: 1.47, the guy the media states Romo should be more like
Phillip Rivers: 2.03, mostly added because I thought it would be lower than this; pleasant surprise
Matt Schaub: 1.71, for the hell of it
Michael Vick: 1.50 Meh
I think everyone would agree that in terms of overall ability and pedigree that P. Manning is head and shoulders above Romo, but the ratios aren't that dissimilar...
I know Packer fans are confused right now and the Patriots are laughing their asses off, but those are other worldly even if I hate them. I am just jelly, and I will admit that.
~edit - forgot my quote somehow. See below.
