+1. Reasonable suggestion as long as it is based on the end ranking from the previous season (which is reasonable since you can't base it on ranked pre-season scrim rating when many teams have played no ranked scrims).
Hatch, imho you're being crazy. Hedgehogs play a fuckload of ranked scrims and are ranked 46th. Granted we don't try to scrim lesser teams and seem to split even with WL teams, but the notion that that there will be Pro (or even WL) teams that are going to sched a bunch of easy scrims to boost their global rating by like 20, is pretty lolz. Some might do it, but the advantage won't be too big a deal and it'll be rare enough to be a non-issue.
It is better than the current system. I haven't actually paid for a scrim in like 15 seasons (team flex bank ftw) so they are basically free anyhow if you don't have a team with only your own dots as peeps tend to want to see their dots in more scrims. Don't make this harder than it has to be.
Fwiw I personally don't care if they fix seeding, but would make more sense to put it by global rankings or EL than the current system.
