Seriously, it's kinda cool that the guy was 19 and in the MLB. He's got some power. But I tend not to get excited over guys who hit .264

I tend not to get excited about any players that media force feeds down our throats with absolutely no substantial stats to back up the case. The kid has power, but he's got what 13 homers and a sub .280 average?

At least Puig plays a stellar RF, and has hit for well over .300 since coming into the big leagues. I can deal with the media coverage of him because they show clips of his insane fielding and hitting skills.

Harper was a media plug when baseball had nothing else to talk about.

Harper is one of the most dynamic baseball player in the game right now... Puig can only wish he was named Harper.

In 9 seasons, he hit above .300 7 times so far. His rookie season, he only hit .297. He's one of the most consistent hitters in the MLB. Solid batting average season after season. Good amount of home runs each season. Good eye. He's damn good in the field.

He's an outstanding player.
