yello1 is a class act.
The problem is people say they want to be on a WL team but can not accept that sometimes their dot just is not WL caliber and they may be getting an offer as the best of whats left.
then there are the stat padders that build decent dots but want the pretty stats so they sign in the weak leagues rather than take a back up role with a contender.
as for the pool thinning out consider free players hit decline this coming season so many retired to get a free glamour player.
I will always give yello1 serious consideration on any offer to my dots because he is such a hardworking owner.

Thanks, that wins you a Rookie Contract offer! LOL

Yeah, the freep retirement cycle is probably at work here. Its making Rookie team building tough because I think that prompted alot of rookie startups as well.

It's not just you. Recruiting has really been difficult for everyone.

And no, I don't considering people with a team in a network or that sign mostly people in their inner circle as recruiting. So spare me any jive about how you've had no problems when in fact you've had the same handful of people creating dots for your teams for 30 seasons.

But when I had a World League Team I still couldn't sign any free agents?

I know it can't be me.

Is it me?

I had a dot on one of your teams last season and the team was basically just there, getting killed week after week

also, people tend to keep their dots with people they know

if people are building high EL dots, they probably have been here a while and keep dots with people they know

there are tons of FA dots, but not many high quality ones

Truth; red has been forced to use even some of *my* dots, which tells you the high end market has gone to shit.

Yes it was. Don't contradict me. You won't like me when I'm mad.

Which team?

The league promotion routine screwed us last season, shoved three teams into Nat Pro that were not ready for it.

Tried to bolster them with dots who were being moved off of the Miracle but most they managed was .500 ball with the Word and Grace, Immortals were savaged because I did not have enough of my own dots to bolster all three teams.

Or do you mean the Masons? They are stuck in elite, but per the recruiting issues noted, are not elite.

If the dots are 100 EL south of the top of the league, the team is only going to do so well.

But I was trying with all of them.

Not on the forums too much. Its rare when a team post gets replied to, so being human I dont make as many as I would in a forum that was chatty.
