Success in GLB could be defined as, doing everything EXCEPT WL.

Having a stalker is the true meaning of GLB success.

Do you really want to see the pics? I am not judging but unless you know the guy it would be like buying a pig in a poke. you just don't know what your gonna see or get.

being a terrible Oc and making my DC want to blow his brains out for the 10th straight season = me being a bigger success than any of you.

I've had fun in GLB since Season 2 with a limited number of dots and teams. I'm still here, and I've had a lot of fun. One day, maybe I'll be on a great team and build that great dot. Still, I look forward to this game each day. If you have fun doing what you do, it's a success. That doesn't mean I'm a well-decorated GLB agent, though.

Does being a successful owner mean you have to win WL? or can it mean you have had success from pee wee.

Definitely not this

Most people define success at whatever their best personal accomplishment is. It's completely relative and subjective. Some will say WL rings. Some will say WL Playoff games. Some will say Pro, peewee, or whatever championships. Some will even say having an 8-8 Pro team that never guts for 20 seasons back when only the bottom 2 teams demoted is successful. Best forum clowns, best EL guys, best stats...if you lay a claim that most others cannot, chances are you consider yourself successful.

I have seen alot of people on the game post things that seem to point to a difference of opinion. as to what makes a agent or team a success on GLB.

Does being successful mean you as a agent have alot of MVP's? or that your players seem to always be on teams that win alot of games?

Does being a successful owner mean you have to win WL? or can it mean you have had success from rookie, pee wee, casual on up to WL?

Does being a successful coordinator only come from being a WL coordinator? or can it mean you have had success at the lower levels as well?

I know alot of the people on here feel that to be labeled as successful you have to be a WL regular. but is that the end all be all or are there other things that measure the success of a agent, team or coordinator? I am just wondering what the differences in opinion are and what different agents gauge as a success on the game.

Success is in the mind of the individual.
I consider my time here on GLB successful because I had a goal and reached it. The goal was to build my own team, do all the work on the builds and run all three phases including the financial end, and win a Championship with that team at least once.

I actually accomplished that back in S15. What made it even cooler was that my team was a big underdog going up against a team that nobody beat all season. They were only lvl18 dots, but all the hard work and time spent produced a great ending. To others, that's not successful because it wasn't done in the WL. I personally could give less than a damn about what those people think.

So, once again, success is in the eye of the individual. If you reach any personal goals playing this game, then you are successful.

awesome post and something that I really hadn't thought about as a goal. I make teams of all my own dots, I OC the team, I run the finances but I have never tried DCing. I may see if I can't try to learn how to and try to do what you did. I think it would be a wwesome goal to try to achieve.
