Don't go there with Hagz. He say's he hates these arguments, but I think he actually lives for them. It's like wrestling with a pig; you both get dirty and the pig likes it.

It's not worth it. All he will do is ignore statements he's already made, accuse you of being illogical while not recognizing his own illogical fallacies, and he'll completely misinterpret anything you say or even put words in your mouth to argue against. Then, he'll accuse you of not being nearly as intelligent or logical as he is. It's like pulling a string on a top; he'll just spin in one place for hours while the rest of us try to move on to something more interesting.

And this is one of the things I hate here. People assume so much about everyone else, when obviously they have no clue. *sigh*.

Wanna know what is the thing I most dislike in GLB at the moment, and the one that multiple times made me want to quit?

The people in the forums.

Now, I can't say "you draw your own conclusions" as obviously, you'd reach a different one that I do, so it would only happen again, a vicious cycle of "how the fuck do these guys think? this makes no sense!".

People put words in MY mouth, people misinterpret what I say, and then I am the one that puts words in other people's mouths. Right. And pigs fly.

I really wish we had a properly moderated forum where the average troll in here would be banned on sight... One can only dream...

And why do I need to measure the "amount of time and work OCs are putting into the game" ? I made no such statements concerning ALL OCs and I made no such statements concerning the effort they take. A person can have 100% effort rolling a rock downhill instead of up. The ball is still heading the opposite direction even though the effort is the maximum possible.

Hagz, I've been here a million times with you and YOU put words in your own mouth and then contradict yourself.

You said "Since no OC tries, no OC really succeeds." Then, you misquote yourself by changing "Since" to "IF." Put all the sugary goodness on it that you want by calling it 'shock and awe' or an "intro" or whatever you're calling it. You replied with an opinion that no OC tries (didn't offer any reference points to back up your assessment) and say everyone is being illogical because they challenged your opinion. In typical Hagz fashion, you revert to attacking someone else's thought process instead of offering some sort of scientific data to support your own thoughts.

Ok, this might seem silly to you but english is not my main language. What is the difference between "if" and "since"?

EDIT: I mean, from what I know, since can be a time or a condition, considering it is not being as "since last night", it's got to be the other, what am I missing ?

So basically Hagalaz says a wrong blanket statement, then spends three more pages trying to sound smart saying he didn't say what is plain to see in front of everyone?

And he complains about the other people on GLB

Nor sir, don't play the Sammy Sosa defense. There's no way you don't know the difference between "since" and "if," especially because you specifically changed from one from the other once people objected to your original statement. You're a smart guy, but one of the reasons you're so much less evolved than I am is because you can't admit when you make a mistake. Instead of spending so much sound and fury trying to defend an incorrect statement, just say "I screwed up." I promise we'll forgive you, or at least I will.

Yes, why quote that? What is the relevance?

Yes, yes I do complain. And I will keep complaining. The forums have done nothing but go downhill the past year and a couple of months.

Hagalaz, if English isn't your first language, then perhaps you should be a bit less strident in your posting style. You should also be a bit more understanding if people misinterpret what you write, since a single mistaken word can drastically alter your message away from what you meant to convey. We can't read your mind... we can only read what you write.

If the forums are so bad and the game is so bad why stay? Seriously if you do not like the game GTFO most people wouldn't miss you being here. The funny thing is you bitch about the forums being so bad. But from what I have read you are the biggest problem in this thread. LOL at someone not knowing the difference between if and since. Like people believe that lame ass excuse.

Hagalaz is alright. He's just too high-strung.

I don't think it's just high-strung. He's also a condescending jerk. Whenever someone disagrees with him, he immediately questions or even insults that poster's intelligence and reasoning ability. He typically argues for the sake of argument, shifting the focus of his ire from one area to a new, sometimes completely fabricated subtopic when the argument starts going against him. I don't think he's dumb, but he's not as smart as he thinks he is (or, rather, others aren't as stupid as he thinks they are). He never admits when he is wrong on anything and he must cut down others in his quixotic attempts to prove himself superior. There is no room for disagreement in Hagalaz's world.

Can we keep this more on the topic of dual threat QBs and less on individual posting styles?
