That is not what I found to be the case. That update button still updates the main DC even though you are working on a preset. In order to save the changes to the preset, you have to hit the save preset button instead of the update button, and you will be fine.

Schedule one scrimmage, go to the Tactics Calendar, and plug in random AIs and DCs.
If you do not use any presets for any other games, the basic default DC should not change, but somehow it does.

Never touched the DCs... focus on the Tactics Calendar, this is where the problem lies.

But what DC preset did you use in the tactics calendar for that one scrimmage game? How/when did you create or update said preset for that one scrimmage?

Base DC, you use preset DC and yet still look at your base DC? For what reason?
This one did confound me some, so just curious if you mean preset AIs or everything is preset?


I keep a "base" depth chart for games I simply don't care about. The "base" depth chart is similar to, but not the same as, any of my presets. I check my "base" depth chart for two reasons...1) to ensure everyone is on it, and 2) to check into any bug reports that come in.

As for your confusion, I use preset DCs for games but keep a default DC in place as well. Your confusion is confusing.

Doubt you will notice them changing if they are the same, no?

I run multiple depth charts. If I'm facing a pass heavy team I set things up one way. If I'm facing a run heavy team, things are set up a different way. If I'm facing a balanced team, I've got a couple options to choose from.

That's not the work around. The presets that are overwriting the default DC are old presets that were created in previous seasons (when they were updated doesn't matter, only when they were created.) Create a new preset by copying the old one, discard the old one, use the new one, and there will be no need to keep updating the calendar.

I'm trolling? I have contacted you about this in the past (you specifically) sent bug tickets, made suggestion posts, asked around and was told there is no problem. Thus working as intended. No? I use presets all the time now and then get PMs from agents about not being on the depth chart after I know I put them on there. I tell them tough shit, your dot plays during important games and not during scrims cause I don't like wasting my time. Now you Re telling people there is no problem again or that it's because of last presets or whatever garbage your selling today. Obviously there's an issue that no one gives a fuck about cause you have myiple agents telling you there's an issue. Telling people to use all presets to avoid a problem that doesn't exist makes a lot of sense.

Examples don't help. We know there are examples. Try to find a pattern why it affects some teams and not others. Why it affects some positions on one team and other positions for others. Get the random out of it, and you'll actually be helping us reproduce the issue.

I never said WAI. I guarantee you that. I never said there is no problem either. As a matter of fact, I'm the one who has gone to bat for all of you at least 3 times with Catch about this issue. It always comes down to the same thing. If I can't tell him how to reproduce it, he won't take it to Bort.

You don't get it. You don't have to use the preset. This problem only affects people who are using a preset. Follow what I said. Use the preset when you normally would, and it won't change your default any more.

This is off-topic but I want to address it anyway.

If you have loaded an existing preset there is no Update button. The update button only exists if you are editing the default. If you are creating a new preset you will see the Save Preset and Update buttons.
