Yep. Before 31 and the chance of the +5% piece is much, much lower and you have one less chance to get it. Levels 41-50 can net good pieces but there are more options available so the chance of getting a +3 attribute or +5% modifier piece is lower. As you get to higher levels you'll start seeing the +3 attribute/+5% modifier pieces but since there are so many options available the chance of finding the specific piece you're looking for is lower.

Longer you wait the better off you will be.

That's not necessarily true. At level 31 you start seeing +3 attribute and +5% pieces. You have less slots available but less possible combinations. As you progress to 41, 51, 61, and 71 you have more slots but many more combinations. While you may stumble on the perfect +3/5% piece with the correct attribute and modifier there's a higher chance you'll end up with combinations you don't find idea.

Just dont see a point to do it at 31. Not unless youre on a team that really really loves those trophies and are trying to win early. If you want to be sure and get what you want its better to wait longer. But Jampy please go ahead and spend your BTs now and get that extra +3 to an attribute or a %. Wont matter anyway, at pro level your team wont be relevant anyway

I didn't either until I rolled the 4 +5% pieces I wanted between level 31 and 41. None are upgraded yet but I'll get them upgraded one at a time until they're all done.

this is what im starting to do too. buy them just dont upgrade them. really helps so you know when to start light training.

Cost of 3 AEQ:
Shopping : Variable...15 shops (5 per piece is probably the average, 10 would be unlucky, 2-3 would be extremely lucky) 27-90 BT
Buying : (If unenhanced 19 BT, if you get lucky and find a +3 +5% its 25 BT) = roughly 60 if you get lucky a tad bit more.
Enhancing: 150 BT (if you get lucky and get a preenhanced one this is better)
Swapping around: 15 BT
Upgrading =900 BT

900 + 15 + 150 + 15 shops or so = 45 BT for a total of 1110. I would say you'd want between 1100 and 1200 for 3 pieces total including everything.

Cost of 4 AEQ:
Shopping : Variable (anywhere between 36 and 120)
Buying : roughly 80
Enhancing : 200 (if you're unlucky, if you're lucky 150)
Upgrading = 1200
Swapping around : 15 -30

75+ 80 + 200 + 1200 + 30 = 1585

I would say you would need 1550 and 1600 BT to get 4 pieces of AEQ. That's just AEQ costs all inclusive.

Like some of the other people in this thread told you, shop at the 1's (e.g. 31, 41,51,61) and shop early-ish.

EDIT: Notice the cost savings compared to buying them outright.

425 is the cost per each one: x3 = 1275 (vs 1100-1200) x4 = 1700 (vs 1550 -1600) Even if you have to shop 10 times to find each of your 4 pieces of AEQ you're saving 50-60 BT, which is roughly 4-5 more MT's.
