You have to weigh all sorts of factors...and it's hard to come to the conclusion of "blocking WRs" being a viable option over destroying half the offensive options without said blocking WRs.

Or, players start investing in strength and blocking on receivers in general, reducing ever so slightly the super, 150+ speed receivers that I'm sure the sim wasn't originally built for...

Yeah...that's not going to happen.

Regardless of whatever fantasy world you're living in, people aren't going to start making WRs with 80's across the board.

And even if WR's did suddenly start settling on 130 speed, what do you think that's going to do for passing?

Then passing will need buffed and coverage will need nerfed.

And then 150 speed WRs will DOMINATE

Then we'll be back to where we are.

But I mean, players getting in each others way actually happens in football.

I wonder how many threads would be made if the QB ran into their offensive lineman and fumbled?

In a fantasy world, QBs start throwing on the breaks in routes and leading receivers. Plays require timing instead of "run really fast and hopefully get open". Agility gains importance for separation. Like, you know, football.

Progressions are about timing.

And I mean if you are going to sit here and tell us all stories about how WR's are beating on CB's in the NFL with their agility and not their 4.3 speed....well then I don't know what to say.

Does your fantasy world not realize that CBs usually have the same if not higher agility in GLB?

So WRs are going to start pumping their strength and blocking into the 60s AND get their agility to the low 100s?

Whatever you're smoking I want some of it.

You're basically wanting WRs built like blocking FBs

It's not the blocking, it's defenders running into each other and bunching up. It's frustrating but also not surprising that dots would end up taking very similar paths.
