No, the issue is this:

Is it worth recoding part of the AI system so that someone can make a difference of half a yard on their AI, knowing full well that the case described by Kelts is going to still happen (because the display text rounds to nearest .5 yards).

Really- are you going to go "Well, if it was 2.5 yards, I would have gone for it, but 3 yards is too far for me to allow this output"? With limited time that can be spent on any aspect of the game, is adding this ability crucial or even necessary? Or is a half yard in your outputs so important that you need the granularity (knowing that even this is off by potentially .24 yards)?

This isn't a case of your deer above, it would be more like:

Deer: Why can't I have some yellow grass?

Cow: We can give you yellow grass, but then you won't get any of the green grass over here. The green grass tastes much better too.

The OP is about .5, the AI doesn't pick up .5 or .6 or .7 or .8 or .9 ... or .1 or .2 or .3 or .4

The AI and Sim do not pick up the other babble someone was mentioning (3.6, 3.65, 3.6533, Pi)

So not sure what the .5 has to do with the others that neither seem to be interested in

Informal of synchronize-

As would I, similar to .24 yards being referenced for whatever reason.
Neither is represented in the gaming as far as I can tell... but who knows, some have inside knowledge I suppose.

The sim *does* recognize it, but doesn't *report* it.. Two very different things. Right now, you get a report if you are closer to a half yard than a yard mark. But it doesn't mean you are right at that yard mark, just closer to one than another.

Once again- if you are at 3.74 yards to go, the sim reports it as 3.5 yards. If your AI is to trigger at 3.5 or less, it will not trigger and you will be unhappy.

I still question the utility of taking your AI down to a half yard gradient.

Some people (myself included) want as much possible control as we can get.
Not that we will necessarily ever use all options, but having the opportunity is worth it imo.

For example, I know it is on the NGTH list but I would personally pay flex (each season even) to put a certain player or players that does not have a custom slot INTO one.... and I know of at least 25-30 more that would also.

Then why even bother mentioning .5 in the game if all the sim recognizes is whole numbers?

3.74 = ?
3.24 = ?

Since there is no 3.5
