At prep, like every dot is the same.

Ppl say to test things out, but when you test it then they say "just ask ppl what they do".

In order for me to give you games and downs to look for I would have to go thru them which is what Im not going to spend time doing

You can ask people for things that seem to work but then you have to go test them out for yourself to make adjustments.

Cover man w/o move means he will begin the play wherever he is located at on the field in your custom play. Coverman means he will line up directly in front of the player he is assigned to cover no matter where is placed in the custom play.

Pull up any games between Whodey's Brigade 2.0 team and my Palm Bay Palookas team. Whodey's always done a good job making life difficult for our rushing QBs. Quite a few other opponents have struggled to stop us, but Whodey seems to have it down to a science.

(Fuck Whodey, by the way. )

QB spy works great just make sure the guy spying on the qb is lined up directly across from him with a little depth so he doesn't get caught in traffic.

Contain outside first by putting DEs in the flats as more big plays come from pitches

Now who can tell what happens when:

I set LOLB to cover HB.
HB gets a pitch to the OLBs side.

What does LOLB do?

lower level ? theres a chance he runs out of bound for no reason.
most of the time he'll be stupid and gets the RB to run around him

lower levels you need to use zones. You can try :
-fourth zones by safeties or
- flat zones
- safeties on the outside cover man without move the RB/FB strong (SS) and weak (FS)

You should set the LOLB to cover the TE and the SS to cover the HB strong and the FS to cover the HB weak. You put the safeties all the way to the sideline right up to the line of scrimmage or at least within a few yards of it.

Thats what I did.

tyvm.

If the HB were to get a pitch to the weak, would the FS need to pass a vision check to switch from cover > tackle on the HB?
